did you see the gameplay vids? They look way better than the pics. Also the game looks good as it is and it is supposed to get better. Besides with the intoduction of coop it looks great just the way it is then.

Have you people become so jaded about graphics in less then a year? Tsk,tsk gameplay is more important then graphics look at the Wii for this example.

Graphics are bad? :| Did you see the video? *sigh* Seriously, this game is beautiful. The shadows are drop dead gorgeous in the video's on GameTrailers, which were posted today. The textures on the ground are even very impressive. Fable is not meant to look realistic. It's a fantasy world with a very cratoony vibe to it, while remaining slightly more realistic in the gameplay area, like getting your wife pregnant. Seriously, this game looks gorgeous.

The graphics are bad? I think TC needs to get his fanboy goggles reajusted or completely blown off. Fable 2 looks really good, certainly better than most games artistically, and forget the fact that the game is open ended, that means the worlds are bigger than you!

The TC has corporate eyes, that means that if the game doesn't appeal on a more convoluted level then it looks like garbage. Instant gratification for the simple minded. The TC is the opitamy of n00b.

Which, if you wat ch some of the GDC videos, you can tell is complete bull.

Well it can't be anything less than the original Fable, which was borderline free roam. It's no Elder Scrolls, but it's no JRPG either. I'm guessing the GDC videos were tightly scripted and purposely confined. So that may mean some sort of technical issues on final release or something. Not sure.

yeah oblivion is decent, fable 2 looks great at all, time oblivion has nasty looking character models, the faces were dcent, but something were just ugly...and thats like the best screen u can get form oblivion, don't get me wrong its a great a game, looks great, but fable 2, look at the videos compared to oblivion. Heck in fable there is no grass radius like in oblivion. The textures look to be much high res in fable 2 from the screens :D

After watching the videos, I think the game looks amazing. I can't really comment on the technical aspect, because I'm no expert on the subject, but it's definitely one of the better looking games I've seen. The art style is unique and vibrant, and catches my eye instantly.

yeah, i actually like peter as a devloper my personal fav, then bungie and bioware, then team ninja and crytek and so on. Yes i do believe him, i think he learned his lesson after fabe one, he started exaggerating on black and whit eand escalated in fable, but now he knows. :) From what i've see at the lionhead.community.com the forums posts from devs and maps put up in threads by them it looks to be that way, u can travel thro forests like in oblivion, but there may be nothing there, they are also trying for no loading from what one dev said in a post.

The first one was an RPG...



A short, uninspired one. It had the makings of a decent action-adventure title with WRPG elements, but they marketed it as an RPG. It made me expect a bit more roleplaying when I first played it, especially when it was called the "greatest RPG ever made." Oh well. Fable 2 does look better. I'm still not interested though.

in the videos at gt, he said they are releasing it this year, he knows the exact date in his head and hinted a date when no other game was being released.
