Fable 2 will be the best rpg this year, except the graphics are bad

I was severely disappointed when I first played Fable because my expectations were so high. But I am playing through it again now and it really is the type of RPG I like to play. Flawed, but very admirable. I cant play rigid character RPG's anymore, except for maybe the best jrpg's.

He always makes such grand claims and often fails to live up to them. But every time he starts doing it again he somehow manages to get everyone (and me) all worked up about the game.

Just like normal, if even half of what he says comes to pass I will freak out and play the game over and over. Should he actually come near perfect I wont need to buy another RPG for a few years.

What the heck? How are those graphics bad? They look gorgeous to me, particularly shot #5, and the game isn't even finished yet.

Is the world going to open up at all in Fable 2? Instead of it feeling like one large dungeon.

From those screens it looks like the layout of the world will be a lot like Fable 1.

I dont like the idea of not being able to hop that fence and run off into the forest to see what is there.

I'm very hyped for this game. Peter M has got everyone hyped for it despite his hype for Fable 1 not coming true and he's doing it this time by SHOWING us stuff. He still has a lot more to show but he's sucking me in all over again.

Fable 1 was a very good game. It's one of the only Xbox originals I'm tempted to download and play again. It just didnt live up to the 'second coming' that Peter M hyped it to be, but then again, no game would have!

i choose a picture that has similar setting to the fable 2 screen, and thats about as nice as oblivion can look i have it on the pc and thats maximum settings it that picture

IMO that new forest pic, totally DESTROYS any game graphics, out or coming in any platform, it is shear beauty, i have never seen ANYTHING in a game like that

Its not uber realistic like Crysis or filled with highly detailed characters like Assassins Creed but it has atmosphere and an imaginative universe thats completely unique all the way down too the eccentric foliage and wooden structures that look as though they were hand made by the ultimate carpenter himself, Jesus Christ.:D

While technically it is not Crysis, it is the DAMN closest on consoles, look at that lighting, light beams, detail, shadows, there is NOTHING close to that on any platform yet, bar Crysis

And the art is so amazing for me, that i doubt ANY game can come any kind of trillion on miles close to those graphics, until Fable 3 arrives

Not technically, but from a sty1e standpoint, its miles better than Crysis and most other games out there. IMO Crysis doesn't have sty1e, sure its cool but its boring and theres nothing conveying about its universe.
