if fable would of lived up to project ego's hype I think it would of easily sold 5 million he hyped a perfect rpg game. a perfect 10. and dont say he didnt say perfect. he said best rpg ever. to be the best you pretty much have to be perfect. so yeah ofcourse a perfect game would get good sales. what games that have been rated so extremely high dont sell well. exactly. Fable 2 wont hit 7 million. US is not that big into rpgs as it is in shooters. it can still sell a million plus in US. japan hates 360, so yeah like 5000 sales there ok. and europe might give it a million if lucky. so thats 2,005,000. no i dont see it hitting 7 million at all.
I'm hoping Fable 2 will fulfill Peter Molyeneux's ambitions from the original "Project Ego". I have a lot of hope for Fable 2, but I am simultaneously a bit skeptical. I hope enough time is spent developing the game so it can live up to its full potential and hopefully make some significant contributions to the adventure RPG genre.
I liked the first Fable a lot. problem why most did not was developer hyped it so much there is no way it could have lived up to it.Eltroz
 Yes, Molyneux has a way with words as we all learned, doesn't he? :roll: I don't blame Molyneux, frankly. A game's lead designer/developer needs to be ambitious. Even if all the initial ideas for a game aren't fulfilled, it is necessary to think revolutionary thoughts to make meaningful contributions to a game. Â

You pretty much summed up all my thoughts on Fable 2. Â
Judging from the TC's feeling I have no option other than to agree with him completely. The addition of guns and a dog should push sales well over the 7 million mark.
