Fable 3 - Still doomed on PC?

We all know F3 kinda stinks, holds your hand, way too easy, gimped RPG.

But with the recently announced semi-undumbing for PC anyone now interested in the game? I personally dismissed it after reading the console reviews, but now I'm starting to drift towards a "maybe". From the RPS preview it sounds like the combat has been revamped, and the graphics/art ****are worthy, they also re-did the UI for the PC.

Are you considering Fable 3 for PC again?

If it still has that inventory system then a big hell no.

Hopefully its on Steam, because I absolutely agree, there is no way I'm paying full price ... but reading the RPS link at least put the game back on the radar for me.

Nah,I'll be playing the Witcher 2,a game I bet is superior in almost every way.

No, because Fable doesn't stack up with what BioWare and CD Projekt Red offers.

I've never played Fable, but always wanted too. I hear 1 on PC + lost chapters is good stuff.

Why would a company change a game into casual only face farting stupidity? I just don't get it.

I'll get it on sale for sure just to try Fable (and the art style is cool).

If they can turn the poo into beef jerky I'm fine with that, gold is a tall order.

I will definitely consider it, once it comes out on Steam for a lesser price.

I'm definetely getting it, but only if it's a good port with most of the 360 version flaws removed.

Revamped combat? How so? When i read the RPS article, it basically said "Combat is better because instead of mashing 3 different buttons you can scroll the mouse wheel and mash one button"

I wouldn't expect much out of the combat - Unless it undergoes a complete overhaul, Melee will be useless, range will be for show, and magic will pretty much be your "I just want to win now" spam attack. But you should try all 3 - what they lack in character interaction and depth they make up for in having some very interesting side stories (Which unfortunately are never fully explored outside of a single mission)

Good series for the most part, one of my favorite on 360. Chesty FTW

I want to see how it will turn out. I'm pretty sure it will fail in every possible way. I bet it will even be 60 dollars at launch.However, there is always hope.

Nope, TW2 for me. Also the timed exclusive BS and being made to miss out on Fable 2, i have no intention of buying sloppy seconds.

I bought Fable 3 a few months back and it is absolute garbage...I dont recommend PC gamers buy it at all. The entire game is a ChORE.

Fable: The Lost Chapters was actually a good port, so if the same people are working on this I have a little faith...

I'm not a big fan of the Fable series so that would make it a --- Maybe. Then Microsoft will most def. try to use Gamers for Windows LIVE on it and make it exclusive for their (crap) Marketplace or Retail - So H*ll NO!!! Only game Microsoft can try that is on Gears of War 3, then I'll happily allow it, but that is it.ShadowDeathX

ahhhhh so its not crap or retail if you like the game or want the game but if its not then its crap.

No...more like I love Gears of War enough, that I will allow myself to go threw that crap. =D

Here lets put this in numbers;

(Interest for Fable 3) [3] + (Use of Games for Windows LIVE) [- 5] -------- 3 + - 5 = - 2 (It is a negative number so H*ll NO)

(Interest for Gears of War 3) [10] + (Use of Games for Windows LIVE [-5] ------------- 10 + - 5 = 5 (It is a positive number, so I would deal with it)
