Fable series vs demon's soul's

They have a very identical online system.

Which one do you prefer?

I wouldn't call them identical. Both have very different play styles.

However, I gotta go with Demon's Souls.

they are in no way comparable, in fact, they are pure paradox in terms of setting and style.

but as an action RPG, I would take Demon's Souls.

OMFG I can't belive this thread is even real.

Fable has never even received an AAA rating in the entire serise and Demon's Souls new IP was the frecking the RPG GOTY (over heavy favored Dragon Age) , and overall GOTY (over heavy favored UC2) for all of 2009.

And you're compairing it to Fable???The 7 hourRPG...

The wose thing about this thread is that 24 people actually cliked on the Fable serise option in the poll.

Compairing Demon's Souls to the Fable serise is like compairing SMG2 to Kameo, it just shouldn't happen.

I love both series but Demon's Souls is just, better, in my opinion.

Haven't played either (Demon's Souls just seems too hard for me. I get easily frustrated at games lol) so I didn't vote, but I just ordered Fable 2 (along with Mass Effect 2) and they should arrive by Thursday. Still, I've heard a lot of praise for both of them.

demon souls mainly cause it succeded what it was trying to do. Fable in my eyes didint while fable gameplay was fun it also tried to have a deep/good story and interesting characters. I think fable 1 was wayyy more closer to that. Fable 2 on the other hand was just crap in my eyes.

Well I played BOTH,

Fable =fun little game with alot of potential that ended with the cretids rolling after about 6 hours of opening the gameWTF, RPG? Really?

Demon's Souls = best game I played this gen , best RPG gameplay experice I can think of, may be the best game I've ever played any gen period. Definant top 5 games ever.200+ hrs.

In all fairness though, they're not even the same genre, DS seems like a great WRPG, similar to ME, DAO etc., Fable is and always has been an Action/Adventure with more in common with games like Zelda regardless of what Peter (i cant stop talking **** Molyneux) would have everyone believe.

I voted for Fable 2 as i posted earlier, because i loved both the Fable games and i've never played DS (but will do as soon as my PS3 is back up and running :D ).

neither of those 2 under delivered lol both were good in their respective rights and have went down as 2 of this gens greats for a reason.MGS4 went down for being the big finale to the snake story, and Halo3 cause of the culture and hype it has surrounding it along with its multiplayer which is probably the biggest cultural phenomenon of the 2000's.MGS4 goes down as a massive game since it gota 10 in here and is only one of 2 AAAA exclusives so it cant have underdelivered in any way if you want your arguements to be technical you have a lot to learn bout the boardman :P

Fable was just a run of the mill Lionhead game that was hyped to the heavens and back by Molenyuex and underdelivered like any of its lionhead bretherin especially looking back on black and white there was sooo much more room for potential with it and what molenyuex hyped it to be -_- Fable was touted as being massive and deep yet tbh i found both fables from whaat i played to be really shallow but good experiences nonetheless.

Demon's Souls, quality title. I have not voted however as I have never played any of the fable games :P
