Where the hell did you pull that number from? It sold 87,000 copies in the first month in the US alone.

By the way, I bought the game legitamately for $39.99.

False logic : sales are difficult for Crysis because most PC owners can't run a it at decent settings and with decent performance to boot. The sales are mostly from people who actually have proper rigs to play the game on.

The piraters out there are those who have no doubt the game will run poorly on their system : why waste money on something that needs a 3 years in the future system? They aren't hurting the market really : it was as if they never purchased the game to begin with, and were never willing to purchase either to the system requirements.
