Also.. the 2 lowest scores on the 360 version.. are from sites that havn't rated the PS3 version. And PSX magazine gave it a 9.1, whilst the highest an xbox magazine has given it is 8.

AC on the 360 looks and plays brilliantly. I don't sit with 2 TV's and a PS3 version running simultaniously next to it, so why should I care?

To be honest AC flopped big time for me. I had high hopes for this game being something truly special. Its too bad.

The only time I had frame rate issue was at the end of the game in the one room where there are huge amounts of people, but once you get past that room it speeds up back to normal. I am a huge cow and everyday I wake up I give a cold stare at my 360 just because. To be honest I think they are equal and only a blind fanboy would say one is better than the other.adastos

I have the ps3 version and the game is great and I dont think u would be able to tell the difference. I think people who own this game for whatever console they bought the game for will tell u, these little differences wont bother them aslong as the game is great. :)

Yer there really is no debate in system wars about framrate, gamespot has spoken in there review and said the ps3 version has the better framerate, and there word is law here in system wars.bigLLL

yeah, but Gamespot is not law in my 360 or PS3. other sites said the framerate is better on 360... i want to know what version is TRUELLY (truelly as in: the truth, so not just fanboyish hopes) better. but i have some time. i still have to finish some games before i buy AC. and i WiLL compare both versions and I WiLL be honest about what version is better.

well, that's logicall.. there are far more 360's... i just want to know what verion to buy. But i'm leaning to the 360 version so far. but i have time

IGN :lol: anyways AC on ps3 is filled with problems as far as i know but my 360 version was smoooo0000th and i finished the game with no problems at all

posts over on the Ubisoft forums have gamers all fired up over reported freezing issues with the PS3 version of Assassin's Creed.

Some gamers are indicating that the bug is occurring with the new 2.00 firmware release while others have reported that their AC game froze up with firmware version 1.94.

One forum member, harvard114, expressed his anger over the problem by saying:

The issues of releasing unfinished or buggy software on PCs have always been common because some game companies feel that a patch can always be released later...to the consternation of gamers.

Console gamers, until now, have been relatively safe and secure with the knowledge that released games were as perfect as they could be. However, with game machines now having hard disk drives and online capability, it would seem that the "curse of the patch" is now upon the game console world as well.

I got the 360 version and I'm experiencing no screen tears. I saw like 1 framerate drop and it didn't affect gameplay at all.DragonfireXZ95

WOW! because you haven't had problems on your 360, it must mean that EVERY SINGLE version of the game doesn't have issues. Thanks for clearning that up for me.

So how is providing facts to a debate being biased? Seriously be quiet man and learn to accept the truth. Mods should show facts so to tend things and put a conclusion to them. Not let them go back and forth with a lack of evidence.

:( I thought AC would definately score much higher than that overall...I still want it more than anything.
