the Wii does have a good chance of selling more than the 360 and PS3, and because of many reasons. the price is very reasonable, for parents and the kid who has to save. alot of parents are aware of the violence that goes on in video games, because of the media, almost every other moth there is some story on the news or internet. so what do you think little billy's mom will get him, a 360 and GeOW so he can cuss and chainsaw people in half, or the lovable Wii carachters and the mario gang. the other area is casuals, casuals, casuals. Alot of people love video games, but dont have time to get familiar with the game and controls." whats this button for? what does this do, how do i do this, hold X and what at the same time...........this is too complicated for me" is always the end result. the wii on the other hand," how do i swing the club, just swing the controller, how do i hit the ball just swing and press A, thats it wow this is easy." the end result is anybody can use it, and the casuals outnumber the hardcore by the millions, bottom line.

The only thing the Wii has over the PS3 or 360 is price.  I have all 3 systems & my Wii became a paperweight right after beating Twilight Princess, & every game I have played on the Wii since has been utter crap, (Sonic & the Secret Rings was OK-ish, but they murdered SSX).  Honestly,  I'll wait for Mario Galaxies & if it doesn't live up to my expectations, then I'll give my Wii to my little brother, he's a lot younger & is very easily amused so the Wii would be right up his alley.

Meh, maybe.  It looks OK-ish.  If I still have my Wii when it hits, then I'll probably pick it up.

I'm definitely NOT saying that.  I'm saying that my younger brother is easily amused & isn't into really deep games, so he'll get more enjoyment out of the Wii because most of the games don't require big chunks of time to play & most have a much better pick up & play quality to them, (lots of mini-games or short adventure titles, etc).

I'm more interested in deeper titles, shooters, online play, etc.  I'm not in any way slamming people who dig the Wii, it's just not for me so far. 

If it does it proves again that nintendo can sell more with an inferior product, they've already proven this with the ds.

I'm saying that my younger brother is easily amused & isn't into really deep games, so he'll get more enjoyment out of the Wii because most of the games don't require big chunks of time to play & most have a much better pick up & play quality to them, (lots of mini-games or short adventure titles, etc).

I'm more interested in deeper titles, shooters, online play, etc. I'm not in any way slamming people who dig the Wii, it's just not for me so far.

i never said anything about people being low-minded , but not everybody has the time to get into the logistics of video games. but its more easier with the wii

I'm sorry but the wii is not gonna win this war,because the wii will turn allot of casuals into hardcore gamers.And that is good because more people will buy more PS3 and X360. So go ahead  sheep and say that the wii will win because it's selling well at the moment.but trust me the wii will finish last this generation because people are gonna realise the wii is just a gimmick and then most of them will just buy the superior X360 and PS3!Oh yea,I forgot about halo 3. and all the halo fans who don't own a 360 will buy one,and we all know how many halo fans there are in this world,so get ready to say bye bye to your gamecube with motion sensing!
