Gears 2 looks better than Killzone 2.

What Killzone 2 does best is making everything so blurry. I think they did this to hide their crappy textures, if you do see some pics without the blur, you can see how crappy the ground and character model looks.

There's no point saying that KIllzone 2's better, you're just saying that just cuz you hate Gears 2.

Look how crappy the ground looks, and the dead guy on the ground doesn't blend in with the envirorment, the lighting is awful on that person. Also, that one guy standing looking at him looks like he's floating...

Yet I find that I'm more impressed with Killzone 2. Gears of War 2 has amazing textures, but Killzone 2 has better lighting, a better artstyle IMO, and mix in that motion blur you mentioned and it's a very impressive looking game. Sure the textures aren't fantastic but I wouldn't call them ugly. And you have to admit that gun model looks almost photo-realistic.

I do own all three console, the ps3 is the worst purchase i ever made, i have one game mgs4 and it sucks, all i do is watch blu ray movies every once in a while and the wii is stupid aside from wii sports, but that gets old

the only thing I hate about killzone2 is that it's grayer than gray itself, but gears1 was VERY GRAY, as well as resistance 1. DarkSan00

Killzone 2 will actually have several different environments ... like the first one ... there will be a gray level, a lighter gray level, lol, and then a desert, jungle, and icy level. They just haven't shown it yet.

I think Gears looks awesome, but come off it already! Just because your personal favorite game does not have the best graphics does not make it a bad game. Gears will rock, but quit it with these posts. Killzone looks better in every way. Heck every preview I have ever seen on Killzone, talks about it being clearly the most amazing looking console game ever. Just give it a rest already.

What on Earth are you thinking?

First off, Halo 3 is not even contention with best looking 360 game, let alone graphics king of consoles. Heck Halo 3's graphics are about average per this generation. Where it shines is its game play. For anyone to even make this statement is outrageous.

Then secondly, to say MGS4 sucks? Wow, just wow! I have been playing games for nearly 25 years and MGS4 is the best game that I have ever played. For you to say it sucks just makes anything you say a complete waste of all of our time. Just quit posting, no one wants to hear anymore. Trust me, not even those that populate these system wars forums want to hear this garbage.
