FACT: The industry is heading for a crash

hey thanks i really concentrated on Skirmish mode with best gameplay nothing else if it is new game its really good because i would really like to play with good high graphics..(historic RTS is preferrable) i already played Age of Mythology, Age of Empire 3 and Rise of Nation all i really love. I am looking for newer graphics with similar gameplays (expected Skirmish mode)  Is grand Ages is better for me??? Thanks for your reply dude

Well I've never actually played the game, but it says the combat is kind of dull. I'm not sure on the skirmish mode on it either. Since your going for skirmish only, I'd stay away from Dawn of War 2. It's an awesome game, but the AI isn't too good. From what I've read, GA:R won't be much like AoE, but more of just building than strategy and what not. If you don't mind a game from '03, warcraft 3 is a very good game, you could get it and the expansion for cheap, and if you decide to go online, the community is still very active. 

Also, I've never played it, but Company of  Heroes is a historical RTS. It's based in WW2, and it has some good graphics. I personally haven't played it, but it has great reviews and I bet somebody in the union who played it could better explain it. It's also getting it's second expansion next month, so expect it to still be supported by it's devs.
