fall 2009 is going to be a nice break from last year when we had too many good games to play, it really does hurt the wallet after a while, its better to have it spread out, just look at it this way, your going to end up getting atleast enough money from christmas for a game or two, now you can buy that game with gift money instead of with your own money if it were to have came out in november or some other time before xmas
I dont need the constant onslaught of games in the fall. There are enough to keep me satisfied. Plus I could always dip into my backlog if things get a little dry. A gamer always has something to play.
mw2 getting delayed i cant see happening with all of the hype infinityward is making for it right now, l4d2 already has a release date, ac2 already has a release date, insomniac has a good track record for releasing games on time, same for naughty dog, bungie is just...well there bungie shouldnt have to worry there, and forze 3, who knows it should get released but im not really hyped for it so that one wouldnt really affect me
Luckily, I usually enjoy A-AAA games almost all the same. My list is still nice and hearty even after the delays.

Gives me more time to catch up on games like Galatic Ciz Ultimate eddition (im addicted!) and some of my newly aquired Retro games like SF2 and Mario Kart (got me a SNES :D ). This holidy is looking good, Borderlands and Brutal Legend alone make it for me. couple that with Call of Pipyat and all those other juicy sleeper hits waiting to happen and we have us a cook off ;). Also we have stuff like Dark Void and Alpha protocall. Is ME2 still aimed at holiday 2009? if so :D

Splinter Cell takes the backseat to almost every other FPS that's coming out, the only reason why people took interest in it is because of the E3 demo. I for one refuse to hop on the fanwagon.

Wait, what? Conviction looks fantasic regardless of what other games are releasing. Also, this is a completely different Conviction than the previously delayed (multiple time, I might add) version.
