I'd say if you enjoyed Oblivion it would be worth a shot. I personally am waiting for the GOTY edition to drop to around $30.
Great game. I recommend it, although Fallout: New Vegas is due out later this year if you don't mind waiting.

This is what I would say. According to the fans, the first two are better; All in all, its a good game though and will keep you rather busy for a long time to come. Then again like the user above me said, the new one is well on its way so I personally just say wait it out unless F3 is $20 dollars by now.

I agree foxhound.... The "fans" just try and prove their gaming "cred" by not giving props to the modern iteration of Fallout. Guess what? Fallout 3 is better than the first two in almost every way and yes Ive played all three....
Really? Anyway, I didn't like it... too open and boring. But then again I played it on the Xbox 360, and I didn't like Oblivion on the Xbox 360, but enjoyed it on the PC, so maybe its the same thing for this game. Its one of those games you actually think less of people who have never played it.... Its legendary....

No I know, trust me. I have played a little of the second one, not the first unfortunately, and I enjoy both for what they are.
And since navyguy informed me about that 17 buck deal, I'd go for it and get it.
I would say this (get the GOTY edition), but I think 60 bucks is worth it. The four added expansions, especially Point Look out and Broken steel, easily make it worth it.I'd say if you enjoyed Oblivion it would be worth a shot. I personally am waiting for the GOTY edition to drop to around $30.

fallout 3 is a great game, but in no way does it match up to the first 2 in my opinion.

You know, I kinda agree. I mean, I played the first two years and years ago, and they were awesome, but honestly, the only thing that makes people say they are better than Fallout 3 is nostalgia. Please Log In to post.
