360 has exclusive DLC, achievements are better and it'll probably end up being the better looking/performing of the two.

I think they're about the same. PS3 version will not have trophies though.

I chose PS3 because you can actually play the game for over an hour and not wait for the console to cool down and not run the disk of it failing

Xbox. It will have better controls, plus achievements.

And it WON'T overheat after one hour. That's just fanboy talk.

IIRC Trophies are still in question for Fallout 3.

There is no install for the PS3

The DLC is only for the PC/360,

I also think it would not have any online play

I would say if your PC can run it get it for the PC, But for the PS3/360, I would say get the 360 because of the DLC, which may or may not be good, but the PS3/360 are going to be pretty much the same so the one with more stuff would be the better choice.

There won't be a large upfront install, but it will use the HDD, they wouldn't say how much HDD space would be required.

"The answer to that is no, there isn't," Bethesda marketing guru Pete Hines recently told Joystiq concerning Fallout 3 on the PS3. "That doesn't mean we don't use the hard drive, just that it does it in the background as opposed to a large, upfront install." As far as how much hard drive space the game will require, the exec wouldn't say exactly. Hines did mention that the RPG will require "a similar amount" of HD space as Oblivion, making us expect to fill up the PS3's juicy interior with about 4-5 gigs of atom-splitting data when the game ships this fall.

The only issue I would have with it is they expect the game to install around 4 - 5GB of data on the HDD, its just not upfront.

At least Fallout 3 can be credited for introducing casuals to the RPG genre.

*sigh*

I recommend the 360 version, it'll have exclusive download content (which is on Pc aswell but not PS3) and chances are PS3 isn't going to get trophys :(

If not having DLC makes it "crap" then I guess you didn't like anyother gen, then again you are probably too young to remember any other gen.

It really makes you think that all the buying up exclusive stuff doesn't hurt the rival companies, it just hurts the gamer.

Hopefully it will be time exclusive, like BioShock, but DLC.

It's not because of the DLC, I don't really care about that. I don't like the idea of exclusive DLC on any game, be it GTA 4, Fallout 3 or The Mirror's Edge.

It's because of the lack of trophies and the hard drive space it'll take up. I don't think it'll be "crap", I was just exaggerating. In fact, I may even get it on the PS3, I'm in the same predicament the TC is in.

Anybody know what the DLC is? I want to upgrade my PC in the next few months, so If I do that, I'll hold off for the PC version. But realistically, I'll only end up playing the game for a month till I do everything, even with mods. If the DLC is anything like Oblivions, then I might hold off on the PC upgrades, save my moola, and buy the PS3 version.
