There's an interview in this week's Famitsu with Metal Gear series mastermind Hideo Kojima. And not just any interview -- a "special" interview.

Kojima speaks a bit about his next project, mentioning the following:

The design doc is almost finalized

* The platform will be a console
* This is the "Taboo" he Tweeted about in the past
* He hopes to realize stuff he couldn't do in Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
* Asked for a release period, he responded something to the effect of "Once I've started moving, I'm quick."
* ZOE's development is being pushed back.Andriasang

Hrm, I thought it was going to be Zone of the Ender's 3. Surely not more Metal Gear Solid, he's done like, three in a row, isn't he sick of it?

Platform being "a console" meaning it's only on one console ie ps3. Or is that translating mistake? Because mistakes seem to happen a lot when they translate japanese developers.

Handheld console. It could be 3DS, especially since he talking about "doing more than on peace walker".

I have a theory that a large portion of the people on these forums and the internet in general who always talk about wanting a new ZOE are just some type of odd "posers" and have actually never played a ZOE game before, instead just jumping on the bandwagon because it is the cool thing to do.

As much as I love Hideo and the Metal Gear Series, it needs a break, a long one. A new ZOE would be nice but what I'd really want is either a sequel/remake of Snatcher or a translated update/remake of Policenauts.AcidSoldner

As a new metal gear solid fan (but not so much mgs1 and 2 due to camera angle). I hope for new mgs or atleast same type of game :)

I remember Kojima and Suda 51 was suppose to be working on a Wii title around launch it was titled "Project S" but they kept pushing it back because Suda 51 was working on No More Heroes, Fatal Frame IV, and then No More Heroes 2. Kojima was working on MGS4 and said he would work on that title after MGS4 was finished but it still hasn't happened.
