What the hell is Super Robot Taisen? I'm surprised to see Halo 3 on there. It's popular in the states, not so popular in Japan though. majadamus

It's kind of like Gundam but instead of the just limitting it to the mechs from those series, it also has mechs from pretty much everything. Or at least, that's what I remember Super Robot Taisen being.

Maybe because it is THE most wanted JRPG after FF13, and might even best that game, since it comes from FF7 creator ?

You ever heard of a manga called Vagabond? It is a very popular manga in Japan with top shelf art and story. Guess who the artist and story writer are for Lost Odessey is? Google the name Takehiko Inoue and you'll see why it's such an anticipated title.

Hopefully , this  will show Square that a Game  doesn't need "Final Fantasy " in the title in order to sell.

That's partly why I think PS3/DS is going to be the combo in a year or two, just like PS2/GBA and PS2/DS. 

Good effort for Halo 3 to get in that list though.

 I was pretty certain the first 2 Robot Taisen games were GBA games...

I love it that the TC added 360 to the multiplat games :P They dont want the 360 version! They want the PS3 version. If you look at the TC's link, none of the multiplats have 360 next to them. Only PS3. :Pasdasd

 Well, obviously those multi plats will sell better on PS3 there. X360 is yet to reach 500k units sold in Japan, and its not likely to reach that this year (unless a miracle -Lost Odyssey living it up to its hype there- happens). PS3 will reach 1kk units sold by the end of July (and I am being pessimist, it problably will reach before the end of June).

PS- Just to finish this: TC is right, those are multi-plats, but its wrong to say that they are wanted on a console that is obviously ignored in Japan.

I also find it funny that the first Wii game on that list, ISN'T a Nintendo game...Ganon_919

Something I noticed also... even though the 360 version might sell better outside Japan.

With the current situation of the PS3... I'm not even sure wheter to think that or not... because the PS3 isn't doing that good either.

This list does not represent what consumers want in Japan... not by far. Its a hardcore's wishlist idd.

If it does good enough and we see a sequel, this could be a possible answer to SE supporting Sony.

Of course, that's a stretch, but I wouldn't mind something other then Final Fantasy being top dawg for awhile.

Still those few are the hardcore ones, and did not choose White Knight on PS3 over either Eternal Sonata or Lost Odyssey on 360, that is a GOOD sign, and that MS should really buy Mistwalker soon

 Um.. Its a square game.. Square is god to the japanese.. So nothing weird really.
