Famitsu reveals that PS VIta SOFTWARE is selling even WORSE than hardware

This is horrible. Not even a single game in the Top 30 during its launch phase. No third party games. Not even Sony's own big budget games like Uncharted.

Third parties are going to avoid this thing like the plague.

Especially with 3rd party titles like Monster Hunter and Street Fighter passing a million in sales on the 3DS and shattering expectations.

Does this include digital sales? Because this is where the Vita is making most of their game sales.

People are buying the vita and waiting till the first hacks come out to get free games.

You forgot to talk about the vita's digtal sales for software TC.

Capcom saw it coming. They already have 2x 1 million sellers on 3DS (Street Fighter, MH 3G) and possibly two more incoming (REvelations, MH 4).

It would be a stupid business move to not focus on 3DS right now for Japanese devs. I expect lots of 3rd party announcements this E3.

Including digital sales of Vita games is about as "relevant" as including digital sales of full retail PS3 games on PSN.

Unless there's a major discount when buying Vita games digitally, the numbers are more than likely very low compared to retail.

I hope the 3ds and Vita crash and burn to finally realize that they can't release handhelds that are significantly more expensive then last gen, with a smaller battery life, and much of that cost coming from stupid unneeded features on a handheld (3d) or expensive features outside of gaming.. They released at $250.. WHen they first game out, thats almost half the price of a good laptop that can play the majority of games out there well..

There is a discount when buying Vita games digitally. Vita is also the first platform where ALL of its retail releases are also available digitally. I thought it was generally accepted that the retail software figures for the Vita have almost no meaning at all, as Vita is the first [new] platform that relies extremely heavily on digital sales. I guess some people are stupid though.
