I am a proud owner of all three systems. And whnever I see fanboys, I can't help but get angry. Yeah it's stupid, but I don't see any reason to it. To post this here in System Wars seemed like the most appropriate place (yeah right, maybe to get flamed), since it's where all the hate is.

Sheep always say that Wii is the most innovative thing to happen to gaming since the NES. Uhmm...Motion Sensing is not that innovative. Remember the Power Glove? Also I hear many sheep say that playing games on normal consoles feels awkward. One person said he tried playing Forza on the 360 and said he'd rather prefer the far-superior Excitetruck. While it isn't up to one person (referring to me) to decide which game is more enjoyable, how can you say that a game is superior/the best based on the controls alone? Just because you refuse/Can't understand something, doesn't make it inferior. It's snotty sheep going around putting down other consoles and claiming they have confusing and abnormal control schemes (even though most of the Wii console owners most likely owned a system from the previous gen). It's ironic that in most of the Wii Threads people complain with the Wii's visuals. Heads Up: If you bought a Wii, don't complain about the visuals. If they're that important to you, buy a 360/PS3. Not saying that there can't be good-Looking ames artistically or technically on the Wii, just don't expect it.

Cows annoy me quite a bit. The thing about cows is there always state the PS3 is the more powerful machine. I'm not claiming that PS3 isn't the most powerful machine of the three (I can't claim to know the system specs of the two), it means nothing if you don't have the software to back it. We all know Sony still has it's exclusives (MGS4, Ratchet and Clank, Daxter, GOW, Lair, etc), but it seems to have lost many of its exclusives. Remember last gen, Xbox was the more powerful than the PS2, but PS2 had some of the best games on the console, and still managed to produce outstanding visuals. It seems like the roles may have flip-flopped for the time being. One thing that annoys me is that Cows say that Microsoft is a greedy, corrupt, company. And you think Sony isn't Why? Sony is out there to make money just like Microsoft. They keep getting lawsuits filed against them, and look what they did to Lik Sang. I do have great hopes for PS3, and even though I disagree with Sony on many things (especially concerning their PSP system).

Lemmings always argue that the 360 is the better choice over the PS3. However, with the recent PS3 price drop, they won't be able to argue the PS3 is to expensive, I never believed PS3 was expensive at $600 usd. For a $100 more you get a System thats more or less equally powerful as the 360, with wifi/free internet/60 Gigs/blu-ray. I don't see how people believed that PS3 was to expensive (except from perhaps the sheep). The 360, while having many perks (terrific online service, strong third party support) forget that the 360 is plagued by it's own share of Hardware probelms. My friend had three red rings (Had his for about 4 months; Got it Christmas 2006) and my original launch model always gets the Two Red Rings (Overheat), even though my PS3 has yet to malfunction once (Kept in the same room yes).

Well it's late, I may revise this later. My feelings are that fanboys seem to argue about which system is better, and can't just enjoy the system/s they chose to play.

Flame Shield on!

I won't flame you. In fact, I'll do the opposite. I'll Ice you! By that I mean, I'll support you.

I bear no personal grudge against Console Systems or their owners. That's not what Jesus would want.

I do happen to get a little "Russel Crowe" on fanboys sometimes, wanting to beat them bloody. But I just have to realize, "They're just fanboys. They don't know what they're talking about. Let them be idiots."

More power to the sensible gamer, brother.

Agreed, all systems have their pros and cons, and it does getting annoying when fanboys only seem to notice the pros on their favoured machine and the cons with all others, but thats what makes them fanboys and we can either fight them with cold hard facts or ignore them and leave them to their fanboyish ways and they'll get banned eventually anyway ;)

Really, I tend to be swayed a bit to Nintendo, but I try to not deny factual evidence when it appears. I mean, regardless of the controls scheme or the graphics, if a game makes me smile and is fun to play, then it's serving its purpose. I find that what it all comes down to is enjoying what you are playing. I think people these days are getting too bogged down with all of these things that at the core, don't really matter. I still play game that over 10 years old, because they are still fun. Games like X-Com and Jedi Knight and Streets of Rage 2. That being said, there a lot of new interesting games that are coming out now that I would find equally as entertaining.

I don't like when people say that a system has absolutley no selling points, because they always do. Every system has its progressions and failings, which are weighed accordingly. It's up to the gamer to choose. The smartest and most dedicated people are the people who just get everything, because that way there is no way to lose and everyway is the best way.
