Fanboys > Haters

Why do fanboys get so much hate? Who cares if they like a game and are "blindly" praising it or whatever. Why do people get so mad at them? Of couse im not saying you cant say you dont like a game or say you think it sucks, but people hate on Fanboys for telling how much they like a game. Haters who attack Fanboys usually dont get nearly as much hate. Fanboys attack Haters to, but not nearly as much.

Just let them like a game, dont attack them for saying how much they like it unless they attack you first.

The terms are mutually exclusive I believe. Most fanboys are haters of any opinion outside of their own.

Call of duty, Battlefield. Halo, Half-Life. Mostly the CoD BF thing though, they are vicious. The Half-life and Halo guys just stand in a room and stare at each other. Yes you can blindly love a game and not hate, but those aren't fanboys. Fanboys are people who blindly follow, love, and accept anything that comes from a certain series/game/dev/company/system. If they just blindly love a game they aren't full fledged fanboys yet. yet.

Its also ok to like things too. People need to understand that. At the same time though, constructive criticism IS ok (I agree with that) BUT....there is a fine line between construction criticism, and being obnoxious. Looking at the minority of forum hate that Uncharted 3 had received on some internet forums - Now that was obnoxious hate - with no real substance behind it - and it being just for the sake of it - with most of it coming from trolls anyway) Basically you can take, being anything too far. I'm ok with real fans, and I'm ok with legitimate and reasonable constructive criticism. From my experiences though, fans>haters always. And I know everybody on system wars wants to be the Mr.Internet critic. And then thinks he's some sort of unique pro reviewer or something by being overly critical just for the sake of it. (A brilliant and stunning series of games that I see being attacked by these type of douches the most seems to be the magnificent Uncharted games) But, at the end of the day, having a positive out look on things >>> beats having a negative out look on things EVERY TIMEbrofists
