Fanboys: How will you feel if your system loses?

I'm not a fanboy for any system, but I'm wondering if and when the current system war ends (maybe when the PS4 and the next Xbox comes out) how will you fanboys feel if your system loses? I wasn't on here during the final PS2 vs. Xbox vs. Gamecube days, so I figure it'll be somewhat similar to that.

I'll probably take my console, throw it out of my 16th floor apartment window and proceed to break everything in my living room while screaming.

Honestly ? I won't even be able to tell how a system "loses". Are we talking sales ? Best graphics ? By the time the Xbox 720 and PS4 are released everyone will have one of each and it'll just come to preference.

How do you determine whether your system lost or not? Sales? Games? As long as it had plenty of good games I wouldn't care.

I'd say a wide variety of great games would make a system 'win', as sales mean absolutely nothing to me unless I hold stock in a company.

Losing is buying a console that bombs. Think Sega Saturn, 3DO and others. This gen you really can't go wrong with any console, they're all winners.

Actually, a better person to ask would be a hedgehog or whatever they called Sega fanboys back in the day. The Dreamcast really lost. :(

I am having a lot of fun with my PS3. Loses? What other consoles are there?

I really don't care. The PS3 is leaps and bounds better than the other platforms for me. If they majority of the gaming population does not agree with that, than so be it.

As much as I would like to see the PS3 win it's really not gonna hurt my feelings if it doesn't. I already know it's the best console out right now. As long as quality games keep coming out for it that's all I really care about.

according to some who still bother to voice this perspective, the dreamcast never lost... there were vast conspiracies involving dvd players etc. etc. so it wasn't 'fair' or something.

so maybe we'll have an underground movement. conspiracies about motion controls/blu ray/TEH CELL or something.

same here tho, same here. Well about the sales not the zune, i would get a zune hd but they dont sell them in canada....lame even thought it was supposed to be a universal release date. No idea why it changed,...

The leaps and bounds MS made this gen are great, and the PS3 is proving itself to finally be worthwhile. I have no worries if either finish in third.
