Thanks to an interview posted over at CVG, we've learned that Ubisoft's upcoming shooter Far Cry 2 sports some 50 hours of gameplay. Now that should be more than enough for a first-person shooter, I think.
"Just on single-player alone, gamers can potentially have close to 50 hours of game play. Add the multi-player experience and the map editor... gamers will have their money's worth with Far Cry 2," says Producer Louis-Pierre Pharand.
I must say that after Crysis I haven't seen a better looking FPS. Sure it didn't show any mercy towards my poor PC and I know plenty of gamers feel the same way. As for Far Cry 2, it seems to have come a long way since we've last witnessed it (about a year ago). We're eager to see how it turns out.
Today's news section features fresh screens and a trailer for Far Cry 2, just in case you missed it.
