Far Cry 3 will be announced at E3 ?

Gonna be so awesome!! Maybe it will take place in Mexico. I bet you come down with dysentery as soon as you land. This would allow them to strategically place bathrooms around the map to keep you from going where you aren't suppose to go.

far Cry 2 was good but had some weird bugs. GS thought the game was great 8.5. I'm always excited for new games i can't wait to see if Far Cry 3 will be at E3.

Far Cry 2 had some very cool ideas, they just weren't implemented correctly.

If this is a leap similar to that of AC1 to AC2 then I'm game.

Far Cry 2 was one of my favorite games this generation, but a lot of what they said regarding random enemy encounters, refugee camps and carnivorous animals went out the window when Red Dead Redemption released. Add the survival and open world improvements from RDR, give me more weapons and weapon customization, then throw in some co-op in lieu of the average multiplayer and I'm sold.

I always felt like FC2 is really underappreciated, it was the only game that i felt like i was part of a real dangerous world, because i found myself relying on my instincts instead of silly game mechanics. I mean its a game you have to be patient with, but after i got through the first play though, I couldn't stop playing. It seems now that everytime I play through, I always find something new. One of my fav fps's ever.

Heres hoping that they dont change the formula a lot.

I'm really, really hoping they can add in a true Hardcore mode. I remember when Yahtzee wrote about how cool RDR could have been with New Vegas styled hardcore modes, and this is the one game that could use it.

Imagine, fighting for your life in the jungle, your gun jams and you have a bullet in your knee. You are bleeding out and need help, but your co-op buddy is a bit slow due to his dehydration and lack of sleep. You are both in terrible danger out there, and it would greatly serve the immersion.
