After a fantastic debut at Comic-Con 2010 and tons of real shirts and Xbox LIVE avatar tees selling by the truckload, Save Carmine has the lead! That's right—if things continue as they are, a Carmine will actually survive a Gears of War title. We can already hear the snarling. For many of you, this is simply unacceptable.

But it's a close race, and there's still time! The Fate of Carmine campaign will continue until Thursday, September 2, 2010. You've got two more weeks to swing the proverbial pendulum back to "Carmine Must Die" or to keep "Save Carmine" in the lead. Tell your friends! Make 'em tell their friends! Buy a shirt or two, give to the excellent Child's Play Charity, and get Carmine through Gears 3 with his head intact—or splattered, depending on your preference.

There are four Carmine brothers. The sacrifice necessary to ensure Delta's survival will be made. D. Carmine shall die in C. Carmine's place. I hope Epic doesn't announce the results of the campaign. Knowing his fate would suck.

I really hate the idea of him living. He should have just died like the other Carmines, but whatever I'm only excited in the multiplayer.

I knew this would happen :x I bought a carmine must die t-shirt but I didn't think it would have much effect :( a game where you can hack each other apart with a chainsaw mounted on an assault rifle and you all vote for him to live :| Im disappointed to say the least... :P.

Losing two Carmines, that family has been through enough. I didn't vote, but I wish him the best.

Carmine must die if he won't die the rift in space and time will destroy us all.

SAVE CARMINE! It would be just plain dull if every Gears of War Game had Carmine Dies, Carmine Dies, Carmine Dies.

This would be the perfect Combo Breaker!

At first I figured he'd die, but then I saw him. The new Carmine is a freight train on legs. I don't want to know what would kill him.

also even if you hate carmine and want him to die, if you like Baird and want to save him, you shouldn't vote for carmine to die. as a tie invotes (voting to kill him brings it closer to a tie) will result in EPIC killing off Baird.
