COD 1, the best single player and multiplayer. Harbor FTW! But COD2 comes in cose second for such an awesome campaign. COD4 also has a great SP, but the multiplayer is extremely overrated.
CoD for singleplayer, UO for multiplayer. They were the "best" in the series. Everything that came after was just downhill.

Same feeling here, considering the release of MW2 is so close you would think fanboys would be flooding the boards. True fans of the series weren't brainwashed into thinking that CoD4 was the second coming of Christ for 1st person shooters, and certainly not the best in the CoD series.

Cod4 i like this thematic better. Shooters are shooters be objective nothing comes close to hexen anyways.

Doom owns hexen.
no it dont doom was great but hexen was better, it had items doom had only weapons.
Doom was a better game, and it had way more of an impact on the industry than Hexen did. There's a reason shooters were called "Doom clones" for a long time.
Call of Duty and Call of Duty: United Offensive are my favorite. Call of Duty 2 was just ok, never played Call of Duty 3, and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was just a bad.
