Assassin's Creed II and Halo 3 are probably my favorite this generation. All time? Symphony of the Night, the original Metal Gear Solid, Ocarina of Time, or Silent Hill 2. Oh, and Alice: Madness Returns and Infamous 2 both had amazing soundtracks for recent releases.

Starcraft 2 has the best imo.

Metal Gear solid: Calling to the Nightheard that it was starting to play at veteran funerals....dont know if true or not but not surprsied

Infamous 2: Plight( the music leading up to the beast fight)the piano and violins are so simple yet epic
