Favorite games to relax to?

You know when you had a hard day at work, school, or anything, really. When you come home, what are your favorite games that bring you peace and joy? Games that simply fill you with bliss and serenity and that you just enjoy.

For me these games are:

BOTW: Love the calm, atmospheric music, beautiful and peaceful world.

Skyrim or Oblivion: Bad gameplay but man for escapism Bethesda games are nearly unmatched.

Forza Horizon 4: Sometimes I just cruise around and stare at the wonderful landscapes.

What about you SW?

Very relaxing.

I unwind to my usual "Warframe & YouTube" sessions, which are singularly responsible for my 7,000 hours of play time. It's where I play Warframe with my headphones down, put on YouTube videos on my phone, and just chill.

Definitely Animal Crossing fits that bill for me. Also find the Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon games pretty relaxing just driving around and racing on easy mode.

Forza or Borderlands.

GTA and Mario Kart

Nowdays nothing, but i used to love UNO until you join a lobby with a guy showing his 9incher

Yeah Morrowind, BotW, and Forza are good calls. Rarely anything "intensive" - puzzle games are good in various forms too, especially if I need to get my mind off something

Broforce if i just wanna mess around with some 90's heros

If i want to relax, i usually watch a movie, games is not what come to mind.

Playing games like No Man's Sky is my kind of relaxing after hard days of work, to be honest, and there's also Animal Crossing: New Horizons but then again, that game is more of my lunch break relaxing gaming so that part works. Playing Mortal Kombat 11 also helps me reliving stress when the fighting gets intense thus better relaxing gaming to brushing my skills.

Nothing, a day without gaming is more relaxing. But if need, soulsborne games is great at releasing some stress, sometimes.

Slay the Spire. Lately, Hades. Which Hades isn't that relaxing until later on when you've gotten pretty good at it. But now I can just autopilot and it's pretty chill.

BoTW, Rocket League (somehow). And maybe Fire Emblem Three Houses.

I find a few older games are relaxing for me to play, Rad Racer II on NES, Mario Kart for SNES. Modern games, "Stationeers" is pretty relaxing to just play around on an easy planet like Mars.

Oh Sea of Thieves. Absolutely perfect for winding down after getting my butt kicked on Warzone. Arguably the most gorgeous game out there….just watching the Sunset’s while the clouds roll by over a rolling sea brings absolute serenity until a bloody kraken starts spoiling everything.
Climbing to the top of a cliff on one of the islands always reminded me of Tom Hanks standing at the highest point in the island on Castaway.

They should add a passive mode for people who just want to mess around with friends or do story stuff though. There are a lot of trolls with nothing better to do than grief people doing the story.

Witcher 3, total escapism

I watch a movie or something if I want to relax after a long hard day, not games most of the time. Actually I would listen to calm music than anything.

Prob Total War or Doom 1/2.

The Last of Us 2 is a very good game to relax to, especially your first playthrough.

Rimworld. Sit back in my comfy chair and use one hand to play.

Rogue Legacy 2, MH Rise, Sea of Thieves and Mario Galaxy are my current chilling games.

Seriously, that problem is long gone. The game has been out long enough where the trolls have moved on for the most part, and even those who are looking for a fight are easy enough to outrun for the majority of times. Doesn’t even bother me anymore if I get raided anyway - I use the game to wind down, not to be competitive.

Older PC games:

CC: Red Alert 2 + Yuri

Sim City 3000 Unlimited

It's not much of a game but a VR experience called aircar it's super relaxing from the rain to the music and atmosphere it's easy to get lost in it and relieve some stress.

I like quick pick up and play MP.

Rocket league alot of Rocket League

Overwatch

Halo MCC

most games bring me joy after work, But a good pick up and play MP game will usually be my go to if i just want to play

@NathanDrakeSwag: Mario Kart? Oh hell naw. That game can get so toxic and once you're in first place the AI bots are total BS with constant red shells and blue shells.

Mass Effect 3. Using my character going all the way back to ME and finishing so many times through all the campaigns with the best of outcomes.

I'm such a badass, me and my team can just plow through any situation. lol :P

Hunting in Red Dead 2 is always a calming time killer for me.

Street Fighter V ... There is nothing more relaxing than the feeling of making a guy rage quit.

COD zombies ccan be relaxing at times.

No Man's Sky and Dreams

Diablo style games or games like world war z games.

Basically where I am mindlessly killing hordes of monster with a giant axe or big guns.
