Yeah, I would love to see like the next Vampire: The Masquerade game using Cry Engine 2 or something.1. Crysis Engine (Cry Engine2 ?)
2. Source Engine
I would LOVE to see an RPG using the Cry Engine 28)

There's a Total conversion mod in progress that turns Crysis into a fantasy RPG. But that's about it for now :P http://www.crymod.com/thread.php?threadid=40744&hilight=Tales+of1. Crysis Engine (Cry Engine2 ?)

CryEngine 2, for putting the real world to shame.
Runners up are Unreal 2, Source, and Doom engines, for having the best communities and content developed around them.
Gamebryo, because it can keep track of so many things at once and still render heaps on screen.
Source is great because it generally looks great and is well optimized
Unreal engine is versatile, but hard ti make a game look good with it.
CryEngine 2 looks the best
Of all time? Lithtech, from 1.0 to 2.5. I simply loved the renderer, it looked very nice and was instantly recognizable. I don't like the new tech Monolith is using (from FEAR onwards) as much, but that's honestly because they are being limited by console hardware most likely, if they would stick to PC they would propably now have an engine that blows Cryengine 2 away.
From modern engines the two I like the most are:
X-Ray(STALKER engine), it looks amazing and extremely realistic and what's more it retains the good visual level on medium and even low settings
Blue Byte Engine (used in Settlers II remake, then in Settlers VI and now in Anno 1404)- it's a masterpiece of coding to be honest, it looks simply gorgeus and runs like a butter even on weak hardware. Amazing optimisation

an RPG based on CryEngine2, for now they're working on it like it would be a mod, but they intend to make it a full commercial game in the future
painkiller is one of my favorites but i have none.
but the pain engine ran amazing on my 9800 pro back in the day was very well optimized engine.
this new game only for pc called necrovision is using the painkiller engine except they updated the lighting model now it's per pixel real time lighting.
it used to be pre rendered lightmaps.
epicgames bought out people can fly the developers of the painkiller and the pain engine used for the game.
those sorry bastards lol people can fly ported gears of war onto pc:)
This is a pretty stupid question, to be honest. The majority of us haven't built anything with those graphics engines so we don't know how the tools work and how the support is. We're pretty much basing our votes off of the graphics the artists and programmers make using the engine.EinhanderkillerIf you mod Morrowind/Oblivion/Fallout 3, you have a basic idea on how gamebryo works. Same can be said for HL2/Left4Dead(running on source) and Crysis (running on CryEngine 2)

I loved it. Never have used Garry's mod though... I should get on that. :P
