Favorite Star Wars game that you played?

Today is Star Wars Day (May the 4th be with you). Admittedly, I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, but I've come to respect it. So what are your favorite Star Wars games that you've played? I've only played the new Battlefront games that came out this gen, that were ruined by lootboxes and EA lol. The actual gameplay itself wasn't too bad. I would like to play the most recent Jedi game by Respawn when it hits $20. How about you? Favorite Star Wars game that you played?

KOTOR II with mods. Been playing it a bit more lately on my laptop, and I think I'm prepared to say I like it more than KOTOR - and I loved KOTOR. It's certainly the best-written Star Wars game ever.

KotOR. One of the best OG Xbox titles.

Republic Commando, I think.

Empire at War, even when it is a Command and Conquer with a Star Wars skin.

My favourite one is Jedi Knight Jedi Academy. I couldn't get into Fallen Order, played about three hours tops before I moved onto something else.

have not played jedi academy because jedi outcast i played was just straight out bad. is it really much better?

also played republic commando long ago. it was bad Halo game. deleted it.

Star wars games have simply. terrible gunplay.

KotoR, it might be my favorite Xbox game and one of my favorite games that gen.

But I must admit, Jedi Fallen Order is such a fun Star Wars game but sadly, it needed more to do and Knights of the Old Republic is still a good Star Wars game, but it sure does needs a tune-up.

Empire Strikes Back on the Atari 2600. Always loved this game and I still have a blast playing it.

Fallen Order. The only good SW game I’ve ever played. Solid 8/10.

@ghosts4ever: I liked all the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight games, Jedi Academy was my favourite. If I went back and played it now I might have a different opinion. All I know is, I haven't enjoyed a Star Wars game as much since then. I grew up on Star Wars so I loved everything Star Wars, until Disney (and Star Wars Christmas Special).

Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight.

It's basically my Ocarina of Time, and so I've played it for hundreds, or maybe thousands of hours. I also really love the other Dark Forces/Jedi Knight games and the X-Wing/TIE Fighter series as well.

In reality it's probably X-wing series or Dark Forced II, but for me it's KOTOR 2 for reasons that could be elaborated on.

dark force 2 is another that closer to being good despite gunplay is bad.

Played hours of co-op and VS. mode with my son when this game dropped. The 6 vs. 6 Jedi/Hero mode online was fun as hell too. Rogue Squadron gets my runner up.

Tie Fighter and original Dark Forces maybe my favorite for their time.

Haven't played the new Star Wars game Fallen Order, but I want to.

Knights of the Old Republic for me. I still need to play Fallen Order though and it looks and sounds like it turned out very well.

Star Wars: Empire at War for the PC. Too bad that it does not have sequel that incorporates the latest triolgy (The Rebels vs. the First Order).

Probably KOTOR II. Sadly it was an unfinished game.

KOTOR. Oddly enough, I played it back in 2017 and still thought it was one of my favorite games of all time. Simply an amazing experience that doesn't age. I really have been praying to god for us to get KOTOR 3.

Boring answer but KOTOR for me. Bioware were in great shape then.

Quick edit. The original arcade machine with the cool sit down cabinet and controls has a very special place in my heart too was a staple of my youth on seaside holidays. Those digitised samples and vector graphics were amazing at the time.

Honestly, most fun I've ever had with a Star Wars game was the Sega Star Wars Trilogy Arcade. On-rails shooter with a full seated, surround sound arcade cabinet and force-feedback joystick. Takes you through all the major war action scenes in the original trilogy. Released in 98, along with the special editions.

Jedi Fallen Order. I haven't finished it yet but I'm really enjoying it so far. The only other SW game I've played is Battlefront 2, which is a pretty good online MP game.

Rogue Squadron 2 followed by KOTOR.
