Favorite Stealth Series?

In terms of gameplay: Thief, Splinter Cell, Metal Gear Solid

Story: MGS (except for MGS4), Thief, Splinter Cell

Batman Arkham series.

It would have to be Metal Gear.

Does best Solid Snake impression: "it's metal gear"

MGS IV. It's the only "stealth" game I've played, but it was so amazing I can't imagine it getting much better.

Actually, I've played some Splinter Cell and Some SC: Conviction. Not as good, and not by a long shot.

Metal Gear and Tenchu (even though Tenchu is actually a really poor stealth game, it's just flat out fun).

MGS obviously, that definately the best of the best, hell it pioneered teh genre.

I also enjoy Splinter Cell and the Thief games (old PC games) aswell. But MGS takes the cake.

Metal Gear Solid 1 and Deus Ex. I don't particulary think both of these shine at their stealth department (mediocre implementations i would say) but they are the greatest pieces of ageless masterpieces i've ever experienced in regards to a lot of other aspects.
