I grew up with the PS1 and PS2 and I'm pretty sad to see how you guys and people at my schoolmake fun of the PS3. I must admit it really stings to see my favorirw console maker go from first place to last place, it seems like a bad dream in a way, but I still have faith in Sony with game in 2008. Even if PS3 will be in last place, it still has good games like Sonic :)
And you being female has to do with....? The PS3 will be mocked in school forever. Why? 360 has Halo while the PS3 has JRPG (well will someday). Everyone mocks anime lovers (me included) and all the "cool" people play Halo. I remember in HS we used to LAN up 4 xboxs and tvs and play 16 player halo. If you didnt have Halo, you knew someone that did.

I posted that comment in response due to the fact I believe this is a fakeboy post. In response to your comment, no I dont feel threatened at all. I love it that girls play videogames, its a slight turn on, as long as they dont play constantly. However playing on xbox live, losing to a team, and then hearing a girl proclaim "You just got your A$$ handed to you by a girl" is just as bad as 12 year olds screaming.

My GF plays games, and I love it. I only wish I could get her into more "hardcore" games like FPS and action games.
I've never had a girlfriend that was into games. Ever ever. It's just my taste though, I really like girly girls and not so much the tomboys or the funny/great personality girls.

Thats how i felt when the xbox came out, my first major console was the ps1 (before then all i played was pc) and i thought it was awesome, i was really young, im 16 now so i must of being young when the playstation came out, well i really liked it and got the ps2 soon after launch, But then xbox came out, i didn't like it at first but i think that was just because i was upset another company had come out and made a console and everyone was saying it was better, I played it and liked it so i got it, then got the 360 and thats awesome, but then ps3 came out and it has being a disappointment. I think its just off to a REALLY slow start but at least it has potential to be great.
I've never had a girlfriend that was into games. Ever ever. It's just my taste though, I really like girly girls and not so much the tomboys or the funny/great personality girls.DaysAirlines
She likes platformers (Ratchet, Mario, Jaks, etc), Wii Sports and Raving Rabbids, and Guitar Hero 2&3. And she is hyped for Rock Band (as singer, as no one I know IRL can sing but her! )

i grew up with sony products and nintendo products along side. i ended up with just a playstation 2 tho. but 2008 is looking great for sony. i will defend sony for a number of reasons tho, the playstation 3 is a much better entertainment hub then the 360 is, i bought a playstation 3 not only for games but for the fact that its going to come in handy for a All-in-one product. it can do just about anything. the lineup this year is a dissapointment, but next year the playstation 3 goes on top. the 360 has a decent lineup aswell. Tell your friends at school The playstation3 is only missing games right now. once the great games and the dual shock 3 is in main stream effect. PS3 owners will have it all, hdmi, internet browser, linux friendly, blu-ray player, motion sensing rumble pack, upgradable hardrive, everything gets upscaled to 1080P, the failure rate is low, built in wireless, sd card reader, its going to come to the point where you can use your ps3 for a high end gaming console, a computer, and even for emulation and so on. the 360 is just going to play Games pretty much. and by next year the 360 should have a built in HD-DVD Drive, but thats about it. playstation3 is starting to pick up.
I grew up with the first Nintendo console and it hurted me like.... Sooooo badly when cows talked crap everywhere about Nintendo last two generations! :cry:
