All jokes aside though, he's full of it. The game looks a lot better compared to even the enhanced console versions but a generation ahead is being highly hyperbolic. Hell, I still could spot plenty of low-res textures but the performance I'm getting certainly makes me think this game is as demanding as a Gen 9 title. Nowhere near as good looking though. Still, the game is a month away from launch and he said they're squeezing every second of available time to work on it so it might run a lot better and some things might be ironed out in the future.
It does look a generation ahead of the original Xbox One/PS4.
