FF11 sold low on 360 for specific reasons,does't mean less than 3 mill for FF13

FF11 sold low on 360, because mainly 360 ownders are not idiots to support a company that does not care about them at all, bringing the worst they have and last gen to 360

now the fact is that FF12 could never come to 360, since it was not made next gen and would look sub par comapring to even the owrst of launch titles

Now FF13 makes PERFECT sense for Square to get into 360 market, right ? It is a next gen title, a PROPER FF game amd would sell 3-4 million on 360 first 6-8 months

So, FF11 flopping on 360 mean nothing really, FF13 will come to 360, the rumors are yet to be shot down too !!!

i agree with him kinda.. but ff11 didn't flop. all my friends that got a 360 and play ff11 for pc bought it for 360. i did too, everytime i get in a party i ask who is playing it on 360 and atleast 1 or 2 say they do, so i can talk to them while on party.

it makes perfect sence for them to bring a ff13.. but i wont buy if its like ff12 fighting style.

You know the only reason the HDD for the PS2 was released was for that game right? Lotta controversy circling that black sheep of the Final Fantasy family.

By the time FFXIII comes out , there will be many ps3s on the market and it will literally sell 1-2 million ps3s in Japan alone (they don't like the 360). The overall sales would just split a little like a 75 - 25 split in favor of the ps3 version.

I think they would only get an extra million or so out of the release for curious people who have never tried a final fantasy before.

Now if they made a great seperate FFXIII it could sell 3 million , sure.

EDIT- yes it did 8 to 10 gb that more than enough for patchs and D-L content they wee worried about.

FFXI sold badly because by the time it came out on 360 word of mouth said it sucked. If 360 owners are lucky they will get Kingdom Hearts 3 not FFXIII.Riverwolf007

It was released for essentially for one game, basically so Sony could appease Square. A lot of HDD buyers were PO'd. If Sony actually utilized it, no one would have said a thing, but you had to store data, then transfer it to the hard drive and then back to your card again. Regardless, a lot of bad things happened with Final Fantasy XI's release. And that translates it into no a whole lot of that game is going to be sold for the 360 anyways.

Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy XIII is the SERIES, and it is not exclusive. As of now, FFXIII and Versus ARE PS3 exclusives. Motomu Toriyama has stated that the FNC series is not limited to PS3 and mobile phones(Agito), meaning there possibly will be new Final Fantasy titles created for PC, Wii and 360.

     Is more PS3 games, Wii games, DS games and PSP games more likly due to : yes because:

     A) DS and Wii's incredable sales (and DQIX on DS)
     B) SE are already supporting PS3 and PSP sales are preety good - FF1 , FF2, FFVII: CC, FFT all coming to PSP - why stop their?

FF12 is a last gen game last time i checked, would not make any sense on 360

Who linked a crappy attempt at an MMO from last gen selling badly to a full sequel from and created for this gen?

I'll bet my soul that MS is doing everything in their power to at LEAST secure a spinoff for the Final Fantasy series. Even if they are just spinoffs, look at what happened with DoC. Sales through the roof. It would definitely help the 360 in Japan.

I didn't play it because I won't touch an MMORPG, and there is no way in hell I am paying a $12-$15 monthly fee to play one game.BioShockOwnz
