FF13 and Xbox 360

somehow it looks werid to put FF13 and xbox 360 together... like mario on ps3 or halo on wii.

More preciously, it's like eating sushi atRuth's Chris. They just dont fit to each other.Does anyone have the same thought?

yes it does feel kinda weird I must admit, then again Im sure when FF moved from SNES to Playstation people thought it felt just as weird.

I actually got used to it, what is really surprising is MS strategy in marketing the game, they had an exclusive western bundle which is a big hit for Sony and the PS3, MS is making FF its own game in the west, and Sony is watching!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FF has been on nintendo systems and Sony systems. After the first transition it stopped feeling weird.

If I did get it, it would probaly be on PS3 unless the 360 version is better somehow.

I really don't mind it too much. I know a lot of people personally that don't own PS3s and are huge Final Fantasy fans. Nothing else on the PS3 really interests them enough to buy one. They love the fact that it's coming to the Xbox, so they can play it.

I admit, it'll feel a bit weird, but i think it's a good thing, overall.

hmm...I'm not having any such problem....specially when you consider how many systems final fantasy fanchise has been on.

That's why Im getting a PS3 copy because it would feel too weird to me.

fortunately, it wouldn't bother me if they just canceled the 360 version for no reason, as I wouldn't play it either way.

but, since many fellow 360 gamers want it, no sense in wishing such a thing;)

Its a new generation of consoles, times change.

Is there anything special about that FFXIII 360 console? Just seems like it comes with the game and a fancy box.

Being a PS1/PS2 guy in my heavy gaming years and playing all the FF's from 7 to 12 it's a little bit weird yeah. :?

It's not that, I've been gaming since 1992, it's the same as Devil May Cry for me, I just got used to it being a Sony thing and then it ended up on Xbox kind of surprisingly.

I don't mean it's bad, just kind of different and cool.

What's even more weird is to see the FF13 360 bundle doesn't offer anything but a regular elite model + the game, I would have got it to replace my 20gb had it any special art on the console.

Final Fantasy XI was already released on the Xbox 360 so Final Fantasy and the 360 together is nothing new. Square Enix releasing games for the 360 is nothing new, there are even a few games they've released exclusively on the 360. There no excuse as to why it should feel wrong other than just being a fanboy thats upset that they lost an exclusive.

At first I thought it might feel weird, but then I realized it would probably feel weird for me to play any game on the 360. I've never owned an American-made system.

It doesn't seem weird to me since I actually started playing Final Fantasy games on the NES, yes, including FF I and II.
