FF13 Ha!

Seeing the screens, and making an extrem jugdement call on my end, am going to go ahead and say this game is gonna be a steaming pile of crap much like FF10 FF10-2 FF11 and the biggest PoS to grace a console since FF8!! that's right FF12.

Why do people still like this JRPG series? It hasnt made a great game since FF7, let alone a champ like FF6!! What the hell is wrong with some of you?

Great story! Kept you going through all 40+ hours it took you to beat it!! Not like FF9 where I started to just care about cutting my wussy charecters tail off. Not like FF10 where all the women dressed like Hookers and the men looked like poorly dressed women. Men look like Men, Women Dont need to wear nothing for them to be women! Any way no one cares that Yuna had to die, I sure didnt! Did I care that Tidus wasnt " A Real boy" no I didnt, The only thing that made me smile in this game was " Kimari has a small horn" AHHAHAHA gets me every time. FF8, this game made me vomit romance and then once it dried to the carpet rub my face on it till I turned blue. Oh were magicaly all orphans from the SAME orphanage ?!?! Holy Cake walk batman small details! FF7, We get it cloud your a B***ch get outta they way and let Cid and Barret take out the monster well you cut yourself over Areis, TIFA IS RIGHT THERE MAN! TAP THAT!

Why does it have to, and how could it be, fact? Did he ever say it was a fact? Being an opinion doesn't make it wrong. It's correct because he feels it. And THAT is a fact. When it comes to preference, likesor dislikes, there can be no "fact." Someone believing that Saddam was involved in 9/11 because of mis-information might be wrong, but someone saying they dislike country music can't be "wrong" about their opinion.

I still liked 12 better than 10... despite the obvious problems 12 had, wich were definitely more then a handfull *runs to a land far far away*

Because its plays like a single player mmorpg.

Monster Hunts= mmorpg quests

LP=Skill points in mmorpg to gain new skills

Gameplay= Point and click mob and watch your character wack it until it dies just like a mmorpg.

You run from mob to mob wacking it until you level like a mmorpg.

You get loot drops like a mmorpg.

Monsters respawn just like a mmorpg

The story sucks just like a mmorpg.

It plays a lot like Sword of the new world(Grando Espada) and Lineage 2. Which is a disappointment, but perhaps there are people who love it that haven't been heavily into mmorpgs like myself. I would agree with the TC in saying its worse than FF8 and thats saying a lot because I thought FF8 was the worst in the series until I finally played FF12. FF7 was ok, I didn't think it was the best but it was a worthy follow up to FF6. I thought X was ok too. But really after FF7 it seems Square has struggled to make anything good out of the series.

The butterflies part is sure as hell anoying. But it's a walk in the park compared to the 200 lightning dodge :Pharis12121212

all the new final fantasies are still better than ANY western rpg out there.

and, just to make it clear, the only reason the characters in the older games didn't look like "girly-men" was because the graphics were so bad you couldn't tell they were supposed to look like that.

Final Fantasy XIII is goin to be amazing. THe reason y the series is so popular is just that the game mechanics are just solid and the story is always amazing. You can say that the whole RPG genre is the same all the time just like Final Fantasy but it doesn't stop people from buying. You stick with what's good, though Square Enix always makes a few small changes here and there. FFXIII seems like its radically changing RPG's too so..

and I disagree that FFXII was bad like some people say. I havent beaten the game yet, but I'm already hooked when I started playing it...The story isnt bad too, I dont mind stories with politics/war and stuff soo....

Not only have you demonstrated a complete lack of understanding for the Japanese culture and pop trends that have always been a huge factor in FF games, you have come out and insulted every individual that enjoyed the games you bash (for instance myself). If you want people to listen to you, express an educated opinion, not a rabid rant. Rabid rants are fine, but no one considers them worth discussing or arguing over.

But since you feel the need to spout your opinion, FFX was the game that made me love the FF series, FFXII had a weak story, but the best gameplay ever in a FF game. And I can't stand the graphics in FFVII so though I own it I haven't been able to play past the first 5 hours. Not only that the story in that game is so convoluted that I still haven't figured out what's going on in it.

Ah opinions, gotta love 'em.

I agree with you. FFX is actually the only FF game I finished in a LONG time, and I immensely enjoyed it especially the biltzball minigame. FFX-2, FFIX, FFXI, and especially FFXII sucked big time.
