So to any up and coming fighters that want to make it to the pro's this is a huge warning not to step on the UFC's shoes. Strikeforce, Dream, and M1 global have some talented fighters but not nearly the talent pool of the UFC, and everyone in MMA knows that the UFC is where the best fighters and the money is.

Aside from Fedor, the UFC has all the best fighters in all the divisions if you include the WEC. UFC has taken a buisness intrest with THQ and Yukes and plans to stay in it for the long haul. EA is going into territory where they are for once the small fish, and may have bitten off more then they can chew.

Thoughts?

Hmm. I was thinking people like Fedor and Shinya Aoki would sign to this game, but I was thinking Aoki would be coming to the UFC soon.

I'm guessing Dana White said this?

I just hate this guy now, all he does it try and arrange fights so it promotes his **** show and threaten other fighters. This guy did a lot of good for the sport, but he seriously needs to go away now.

Really though, you can't say he should go away. He did more than a lot of good for the sport and has continued to. And Dana does not make fights. Joe Silva does. And you also have to remember the Fertitta brothers own Zuffa and the UFC too. Really, you should not hate Dana because he is outspoken and blunt, he is really a nice man, and a great business man.

Dana White is pretty much the main reason that MMA is a huge sport right now, and that fighters are making money, and that its a recognized sporting event in most states in the US an alot of countrys around the world. Germany just held the first MMA event in Germen history thanks to Dana.

Yea, he's a loud mouth, arrogant, hard nosed, a**hole, but thats what the sport needs right now to move ahead.

And everyone wants to say that , yea, the UFC has the most talent, execpt for the heavys, and the heavys are the big names... so who does the UFC not have?

Barnett...... cut from the UFC because of steriods.

Arlovski... cut from the UFC because of lack of heart... has gone 2-2 since.

Sylvia... cut from UFC because... well he sucks.. has gone 0-2 since his last UFC, was 0-2 in ihs last UFC fights.

Overeem... Dana wanted him, if he can pass a piss test.... and he can't.

Cro Cop... Went 2-2 against mid level guys in the UFC. Lost to Gonzaga and Kongo.

Fedor is the only Heavy out there that can say he's better then the current UFC crop, with guys like Mir, Lesnar, Cain, Carwin, and Dos Santos, that a stretch.. we don't know cuz Fedor won't fight these new guys.

Every other division in MMA the UFC and the WEC owns, easy.

EA MMAis up sh*t creek.

Unless they make it a womens MMA game and have Gina as the star.... with lots of boobie physics.. :)

UFC does have a featherweight division..... Its called the WEC....

Zuffa is the parent company of UFC and WEC. UFC is 155lbs and up, WEC is 145 lbs and down.

And last time I looked, Mike Thomas Brown handed Faber his lunch twice... :) Just picking with ya... Faber is a great fighter... Brown is just his poison.

I don't see anyone coming up that his caliber.

Well Zuffa, which owns UFC, also owns WEC, so there is a very slight possibility we could see WEC weight divisions and fighters in the next UFC game.

Faber got his hand busted in the second round and didn't lose by a significant margin. There will almost for sure be a rematch between Faber and Brown. Btw it's good to see MMA fans on Gamespot. Please track me and I'll track you all back.

I'll go on record and say Barnett is going to beat Fedor. I just think is a bad matchup for Fedor, just the way he had a really hard time with Arona, except Barnett is much, much better then Arona.

And as for Overeem... jeez... like going from 185 to 250 isn't going to tip anyone off... why do you thin he only fights in Japan nowdays?

Don't forget about Shinya Aoki. Quite possibly the best lightweight in the world.

LW is a crazy division. I personally think think that Sean Sherk is the best lightweight in the world, when he chooses to actually use his wrestling skills rather then show how freaking tough he is by boxing guys with a 6inch reach advantage.

Sherk wrestling and gnping would wreck Aoki, but that another debate..... BJ Penn is recognized as the best LW in the world, and to be honest he is chubby at 155. His ego is much bigger then he is, that why he got wrecked by GSP. BJ could get in better shap and make 145 EASY and win the featherweight belt.

He may have to think about doing than soon because Ken-Flo is going to introduce him to some mean Muay Thai knees here pretty soon.

Fedor is a machine, but even Fedor has to respect Barnett on the ground. hes much stronger then Nog, and Fedor will not be able to bully him the way he did Nog. His wrestling and subs are better then Arona, and Fedor will not be able to commit to ground and pound as easy. Its going to be a hell of a fight.

But, saying Fedor does win, what does he have left? Nothing.... The rest of the guys, guys that he hasn't fought, guys that are young, well rounded, and dangerous are all in the UFC. He has to go to the UFC to step up the compitition or just retire to Sambo and Japanese events.

Fedor is the best heavyweight in the world right now, however, there are bigger and better fighters for him to take on in the UFC then anywere else.

I think this is a dumb move buy Dana. I understand the business aspect but threatening to ban somebody from the UFC for being in a MMA game is messed up. Fighters should have a right to make a extra paycheck besides fighting for the sake of their families. I think Dana is blowing hot air on this one, there's plenty of decent talent out there thats not in the UFC. Whats Dana going to do after is roster becomes stale and all the worth while matches for each weight class have fought? Just keep adding no name fighters from TUF not all of them pan out to be good fighters.

Besides Dana would do anything to sign Fedor even if he was in the EA game. As for the Barrnet comments plenty of UFC fighters have been busted for using the juice. I think if the situation was right Dana would resign Barrnet too.

Outside the UFC where are there better heavys then Lesnar, Mir, Carwin, Cain, Kongo, Dos Santos, Gonzaga, and Couture?

Fedor is the best IMO, but his only real compitition is in the UFC. At some point to be the best you have to beat the best. Fedor did this a few years ago when he beat a prime Nog and a prime Cro Cop, but those guys are not the best anymore. I'd even say that at their prime they are not the best anymore. Fedor needs to come to the UFC to prove himself.

He may be the GOAT, be he needs a UFC belt to make that claim stick.

There are more HW he could fight sure, but I don't think there are any better than the ones he's already beat.
