The art looks similar too other futuristic-esque titles such as FFX, FFVIII, and FFVII to some extent. (basically the sci-fi ones verse the fantasy ones)

Guns aren't to FF either, such as Barrett or even Squall's gunblade.

Music sounds of the same quality I've heard in the past, kind of hard to base this off one trailer though.

I think it looks like any FF game, and by thatI mean it's up for change (albeit what you mentioned doesn't sound too different from what we've seen).

I agree completely, the setting reminds me a lot of FFVIII while the main character screams FFX-2

Final Fantasy 7 was about a motorcycle riding swordsman fighting against people with guns.

That's not not futuristic either.

But on topic, it looks like Final Fantasy VIII which isn't a bad thing. I for one loved Final Fantasy VIII and it's combat system.

Too much shooting, seems to bright, i was hoping for a dark depressing feel to it, but it doesnt seem that way.

I dont like the enemy soldiers either.

There is no KH3 for the PS3. Nomura hasn't commented on what platform KH3 will be appearing on. All we know is that there will be a KH3. However, I think Nomura has enough on his plate with THREE NEW KH GAMES (PSP, DS, and Mobile), FFXIII and Versus.

The art style of FFXIII is such goddamn generic anime crap. I am so sick of pseudo-scifi JRPGs. They make absolutely no sense, require absolutely no creativity, and all usually end up drawing from the exact same stereotypes.

But at least it's not as generic as White Knight Story.

I don't like futuristic FFs. Final Fantasy to me is all about medieval with kings, knights, black mages, chocobos, swords, elves, dragons,castles, etc. I don't like seeing a FF character riding in limos. They should be riding on horses or chocobos.

If Square-Enix wants sci-fi they should make another Xenogears.

As many people have said, it's looks quite FFVIII-esque. I guess they thought they'd go all futuristic in juxtaposition with FFXII.

On a sidenote - anyone notice that those guards looked like corduroy neon stormtroopers?

iwould love it to be like FF9, than FF8 or even FF7, but that did not happen sadly

10 was very futuristic

Its the way they are going. However i do like the old castle style version of FF when they did them.

Urgh....that was the worst for me. I never even got past the first disc on that one...at least 9 got me back into the swing of it.

And yet the 9 had one of the worst battle system in the franchise... the limit system was broken, the battle were slow, the ability system was so so, Junction and Materia were far better... anyways... For me FF 9 was a big let down.

For me FFIX is the best game ever made..... FFVIII's magic system is one of the most tedious elements i have ever seen in a game.

FF9 was terrible, but FF8 was amazing. It was the first FF i played, and i was blown away.
