Final Fantasy 13 Or Final Fantasy versus 13.

Yeah, I'm going to have to go with FF Versus XIII as well.

I've probably never anticipated an RPG like in a very long time. This game might end up taking the #1 spot in my favorites and if not, probably #2. The overall story/theme of the game really has peaked my interest but it definitely isn't taking any back seats to the gameplay. I'm already a big fan of KH2 so I'm glad that the gameplay will be much like that for the basics but I'm also very interested in what new concepts Nomura is bringing to the table for the battle system such as being able to teleport to your sword and placing emphasis on fighting on different levels(Height). I also hear they are finally bringing back roaming around on the world map via Airship for this one. And yeah, the music definitely was great like you said. It's one of the things I like most about the first two trailers.

I don't like Versus at all.
Just because it gives off too much of a KH vibe to me. And I LOATHE that series.
:0 The small amount of gameplay shown in the the FF XIII trailers looks real rad though which is why I pick it over this one really. And Lightning is a hottie.

I don't see anything 'dark' about it actually.
There's a pretty big line, in my opinion, between 'dark' and 'moody.'
Just how I see it though.

FF XIII with Lightning in it is just so... o_o Amazing looking.

After the new trailers released, I can't help but be excited for both :D :D :D Just thinking about the two games makes me giddy like a school girl on acid!

I would have to say I am more excited for FFVSXIII though, for two reasons.

1. It is being handled by the Kingdom Hearts (my favorite games!) team and the Advent Children team
2. the probability of it being rated M. Everyone knows this game will have a darker tone than FFXIII, but if anyone has watched the trailers they can see necks cracking and blood pouring out of the soldiers. I'm not one of those people that plays games just because they are rated M, but I'm excited about this game because of the mature themes and problems that can be confronted in this game that couldn't in a T rated game. Blood and gore and sex and drugs are what people think of, but they can also cover death, conflicted romances that are so deep one would do anything to have another, other things that I can't think of at the moment cause I am burned out by finals, but you get the idea.

ff 13 is also going to be good hope the gameplay will match the story.

Meh, I'd rather pick FF13. I mean, even though FFV13 looks all dark or "emo"(Many believe this is a good thing), I still prefer FF13 more. I like how Lightening looks better than Prince. And the way the combat system looks in the FF13 trailers seems like I will be attached dto the game. IMO FFV13 is just an add on lol(No offense, seriously...).

But I do like how FFV13 looks as well, but in the end, I prefer FF13 more. :)

because I wasn't a fan of Kingdom Hearts....and I don't have faith in a "DARK" FF game for 2 reasons

1- I question if it will actually be "dark"
2- I question if the KH team or Square team can pull of a "dark" theme without being underwhelming.

Well since i dont have a Ps3 right now i will say FF13.

That sucks too because i really like Kh1 never got to play 2.

Both, but ... well ... XIII first for me.

I don't like the character design of the vs. Characters ... They're just ... too stylish? Idk, it just doesn't seem like it fits in an RPG.

Also, I hate hate hate hated kingdom hearts, so ... I have no confidence in their ability to produce anything beyond a paper thin plot.

Come on now... Sony lost a major exclusive and all of the sudden FF13versus will be better not say much better ( for many fboys here) than FF13? XIII might be better(We don't know for sure) but going off the trailers, Versus seems more interesting
