I bought the GBA version but I just couldn't get into it. Maybe I'll try it again.

JRPG's suck...The charecters have oversized swords and buckets of glue on their heads. citizen-zero

You clearly don't know jack about FFIV in that case. (almost) No one in the game has an overly outlandish haircut and none of them carry and oversized sword. Making incorrect assumptions about an entire genre=fail.

Ignorant assumptions aside, the review sounds good, I already played the GBA version, so maybe I'll wait a year or so before playing it all over again.

wont be picking it up, i all ready purchased the japanese version long long ago then the american version when it came out, then the ps1 version, then the GBA version i dont wanna pay for a 5th version.

Well we all knew this game would be good because well FFIV is an amazing game but ****! Now I gotta give these Jokers credit for succeeding in making a quality remake. One that will get critical success, sales, and yes further push Square Enix to keep doing what they do best.

But I'll give props to Square Enix.
