I already have the PSP version, but I can't say I like it very much. The fact that enemies scale to your level makes character upgrading a pain. Silent-Hal

yea, tactics is a pretty challenging game

not everyone who likes FF game will like it...completely different than other FF games

it's a love/hate game...but if you grind it out you'll find that there is quite a great story to be told...took awhile for me to keep interest, i just didn't like the gameplay for some reason, but i kept with it

The PSP ver. is much better.

Silent Hal: It gets better as the game goes on. Once you get past the first 5 levels the level scaling becomes less of a problem. In the beginning enemies are much more of a threat than the rest of the game.

I used to own a PsP..but never played it..so I sold it,but I must say,I do miss sneaking out of work to play WOTL or Jeane D,Arc in the bathroom.

Cool for those who can't play the War of the Lions PSP port. FF:Tactics is probably the best FF title IMO.

Hopefully this opens the door for FF8 and FF9 to make their way to the PSN Store as well.

thats great and all, but really... its available for psp, and there isnt much reason you shouldnt already own it for the ps1, unless youre a youngun. in which case, congrats, heres easy access to one of the only final fantasy games worth playing

That's pretty cool. The US has been getting tons of PS1 games lately, I think at least two a week, while the UK hasn't had one since FF7 I think :(

Either way, I would buy it if it came onto the UK PSN, but it was never released over here, so it's unlikely.

I actually prefer the GBA final Fantasy Tactics. The PS1 version, and War of the Lions seem slow ... very slow.

Do yourself a favor and buy either the GBA or DS version. Much better games imho.

it's true,they also have the first resident evil,Silent hill 1,tomb raider 3..

it sucks that resident evil 2&3 are only on the japanese PS store.

Final Fantasy tactics ps1 was a good game but its translation was flawed, the PSP version clears up all most all the translation problems which caused story plot holes, sadly they didn't use that version.

As for that its nothing remarkable so its getting a game, you would think that Sony would have FARRRRRRRRR more games on the service by now but they don't and surfice to say if you have an HDTV ps1 games look like total crap even with smooth turned on.
