IIRC nomura confirmed its open world in a Fimitsu interview including those screens.

tbh it doesnt look as good as FFXIII.

after seeingNinoKuni on PS3 world map I guess now SE should learn how to do world maps and open world games from LEVEL-5.

I love SW logic. It is so utterly backward that you just have to smile at it.

In the interview Nomura said theres supposed to be party members and battle screens.

Look like there still keeping this game under wraps with a "big annoucement" to come later.

Well Tetsuya Nomura said that the graphics will continue to improve from those screenshots. It seems to have improved significantly from the cutscene trailer.

I'm buying it, graphics king or not. The KH's were awesome and FFV13 is supposed to be similar. At least it was the last time I read anything about the game.
