Final Fantasy VII Remake Might Still Happen Square

Yoshinori Kitase, producer at Square Enix, has been speaking to NowGamer about 'that' remake of Final Fantasy VII.

Itll release fall of 2015 along with Versus XIII in Japan.

Then release in 2018 along with Versus XIII in all other countries.

How many times has this been speculated. seriously who cares.

SE could have made so much greatness yet they've wasted most of this gen for nothing.

Can they please just stop toying around with ideas and get some things done. Square is infamous with procrasination and they constantly blame themselves for not being as efficient with their development time like Western devs, but they seriously need to make up their minds.

No, FF8's playable, FF7's so ugly.. I don't know if that was 'art sty1e'(if it was, they shoulda just kept sprites) or if they just sucked with PS initially.

Yeah, and they could get rid of the stupid Junction system while they are at it.

Don't get me wrong. There's alot to like about that game (chief among these things being the aesthetics) but I hate the Junction system so much.

They really shouldn't remake it. The magic is in the original form. Granted, I'd still buy it if they decided to do it, but I still don't think that they should.

Geez, either do it or don't. It's ridiculous how they keep teasing this to string along what fans they have left. However, it seems like this would make a pretty good launch title for the Vita. There aren't many games that I think would compete with Nintendo's various franchises, but this could be one. Just saying, Square...
