Final Fantasy Will NOT Come To The 360...

...but either FF Versus XIII or kingdom hearts will.

squeenix has stated that they do not plan to support the PS3 exclusively or even with a majority of their games, as they did with the ps2.  they want to spread the wealth.  also, these games cater more to what the average 360 owner likes (not all, just the average 16-25 year old with insatiable blood lust, or at least action lust ).  since there has already been a FF game on 360, tho a bad one, i think that they want the 360 to share in the experience.....by that i mean make more money.

by no means am i casting a shadow of doom on the ps3....i think FFXIII proper will be exclusive and sell like wildfire in japan and america....also, i like 360, but if M$ dominates the high end game market then the industry will go down hill....these are just opinions based on history, Squeenix press releases and actions.

I'm tired of people trying to rationalize things based on quotes made months and months ago. Things change in business, and if there is one thing you can count on it's that companies will act in their own best interests.

Developing a game like Final Fantasy XIII is not cheap. If Square-Enix does the math and determines that there is a lot of interest in Final Fantasy XIII on the Xbox 360, then they are going to port it to that console for the same reason Capcom is now going to port DMC4. $$$$ talks, BS walks.
