i mean, c'mon squareenix! i mean...j-just...C'MON! hype the game soo much and to kick it off with a plain white sheeted printed paper of lightning -___-

Good thing I dont play the boxarts.

Most of the fanart box art are the same as the official one, except with gradients in place of white. :lol:

Yep, only US was getting color ones probably becouse some local laws.

Here US for compirison:

FFXIII is first mainline FF game that brakes tradition of logo only cover since FFVII

I thought it was okay until I played the game. Lightning isn't all that much the main character.

Same with TV's. I mean, I don't even have electricity. I just keep buying TV's to play in the boxes.

But seriously, yeah, box arts are nice, but it doesn't really matter. The only reason why they are kind of important is because when you think of the game, you sometimes think of the case first.

Whats wrong with it? in the EU we normally just get the logo with a small picture.

I don't mind it. We get the completely white one in Europe I think, but I like that anyway.

For me it seem that the boxart quality has dramatically drop during this generation with a lot of random stuff going on all at once. In this case it not that bad, but I would rather have the character image removed with the text being center in the middle with a larger font size. As for not playing boxart well I would much rather have a good boxart that looks like it took a lot of thinking rather, than something that looks like it was just put together in the last second with random image thrown on the front.

The word bland needs to be added to some of the more overused words around here.

I Like it, but to be honest, i would prefer more the traditional white background, logo in the middle. Still i think it looks decent.
