I actually kinda liked some concepts of FFXIV but I haven't been following the new version. At least it was one of the very few, combined with Pirates of the Burning Sea and Vanguard that tried to take it's own way instead of WoW-ing... It had a feeling of open world and I liked it. Was kinda chill mentality. go fish, pick some herbs... I also liked how you could be all the classes and use other classes abilities and such.
As for TESO, I've written a few times in PC boards why I'm not gonna like it (most likely) and they seem to be disguising words like phasing and instancing with pretty words like "dynamic active world and crap" but in the end, it's another excuse for singleplayer themepark elements that should stay the **** away from mmorpgs.

If TESO is literally Skyrim with other people running around in it and a larger open world then I'm there... assuming it's F2P. FFXV looks more up my alley for gameplay though.
