In beta phase, this fucking company.
What's wrong with it? The game's development only started in 2012.
Incoming people who grossly overestimate how long a beta takes.
It's now just debugging and optimization, for the most part, the game is mostly done. I can see this launching in June.
Looking forward to this game, I feel like this will make up for FF13.

"Just" debugging and optimization can take a long time as well these days, I don't want another Witcher 3 situation. Besides bugs the graphics are pretty crazy and it's taking a long time to get it running smoothly, I hope they get it to a locked 30fps.
I refuse to get hyped, all the games I get hyped for get deleted - Final Fantasy, Zelda, Persona, Uncharted, No Man's Sky
;__;
Im 23 and I was 12 when this game was announced.
That is all.
Edit:
Actually, 13 after looking it up. Still, goddamn.
10 years to get to beta version lol.
Seriously though, the reboot and move to current Gen started in mid 2012, so until next year, you have 3.5 to 4 year of development which is normal for big RPG's.
Good luck SE and they better not disappoint.
Guys I feel I must reluctantly point out pre-beta is not beta. It means they are getting ready to work towards a beta so it's pretty much still an alpha. But don't lose heart, by my calculations we will see a new FFXV demo around 2025. They will have had plenty of time to fine tune it by then and will probably put the girls back in and kick the emo boy band dudes into touch.

interesting. No wonder you stopped being such an annoying ****. You grew up!
But anyway, I was still in high-school when this game was announced and now I already completed a bachelor's degree and work as some sort of web designer, dba and programmers. Depends on the kind of work I receive really because it's very varied/random.

Pre-Beta is Complete. So it is now post-pre-beta, so it is in Beta.
the story and characters in this game are gonna suck. I can feel it.
Tabata killed my hype with all the changes, this is not Nomura's game anymore.
Nomura also sucks as well.
Anyone still waiting for this? FF stopped being any good at XIII.
WRONG! Final Fantasy stopped being good when Hironobu Sakaguchi left SE and then taken over by Nomura.

A game they announced in 2006 more or less, is in development since 2012.
A game, they made a 2 minute trailer for. That's what is wrong with that.

They announced Final Fantasy XV in 2013. Final Fantasy Versus 13 was announced in 2006, don't mix the two.

....so it can't be good anymore...
are you one of those hipsters in the community that people refer to sometimes ?
@dobzilian: Thats your choice, however I will say that FFXV is not developed by the same team that worked on the FFXIII series.
Anyone still waiting for this? FF stopped being any good at XIII.
eh thats your opinion.Iv enjoyed most of the FF titles iv played. Also some would say it stopped being good at 12. Then again the "stop being good" easily translates to "the FF game I didint like"
