The title of this thread killed me. Seriously, Madden has no idea where he is ever. He just spouts out generic football nonsense anywhere he goes.

"Now, offense is very important, because if you don't score, you can't win- simple as that"

"Now, defense is very important. If you can't stop them, then you're going to put a lot of pressure on the offense to score, and we all know defense wins games."

"Now special teams is very important. If you can't get good field position, you're going to put a lot of pressure on the offense."

Say it at any point during a football game- it works.

I don't even play madden or any sports games. But if I had to, i`d just rather play with professionals. Its just different. Building a Pro team from real teams and players...idk.

Sorry, I can't play unlicensed sports games either.  I just can't get into it, just like I have trouble playing Madden or NBA 2k series when their respective seasons are over. 

Actually Madden has not been on the cover for many years.

 My favorite of all time was when the Rams played the Patriots in the Superbowl. The Pats got the ball late in the game and Fathead said 'The Patriots should run out the clock and go to OT.' After the Rams just tied the game up and had momentum. I figured he should have retired years ago.

 Another fav Fatheadism ' If the receiver cathes a pass in the endzone, it'll be a touchdown.' Thank you Captain Obvious...

Don't worry, if the NFL has an iota of CS, they'll drop EA and give 2K the NFL licsense...

NFL didn't give the license to EA, EA bought it.  I just want the NFL to stop selling the license all together.  I'd still probably by Madden because they have always been better games IMO, but at least EA would have some competition and reason to improve.

we can only hope... Madden is sooo tired as a franchise

Has a Wii version been confirmed?  I forgot.  I haven't checked up on this game in months.

Also, I was so happy I crapped my pants when I learned that I might be able to buy another football game.  I haven't bought  a Madden since '00 for the 64, and I don't have a single regret, because I can pick up '07 today, and it's exactly the same as what I had eight years ago.  Madden is washed up.
