Video game publisher THQ and tabletop game publisher Games Workshop have already enjoyed great success since 2004 with Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, the popular real-time strategy game based on the gritty and brutal Warhammer 40,000 sci-fi universe. The game has given rise to two expansion packs, the most recent of which won GameSpot's award for Best Expansion Pack of 2006 and remains a popular title with strategy enthusiasts.

I love 40K and I can't wait.

no games take skills....there video games....you sit down and move your fingers while playing them..... there might be one or 2 games out there that actually require skill for you to be good at it...

Have you heard or played Ikaruga? Only hardcore players like myself are good at that particular game.

Okay, Click_Clock, we get it. You like Ikaruga. It's a great game, but there's life beyond it. Oh, and in terms of difficulty, Gradius V pwns Ikaruga.

Great logic. I guess playing musical instruments and doing homework takes no skill either. I mean, come on, alls you do is move your fingers.

lol, you really need to enter a game tournament or try playing some veterans in fighting games. Even PoS buttons smashing games like Marvel vs. Capcom 2 will require some amount skill.

they actually require you to use your hand as well, so your multitasking.

What i find sad, is how you claim yourself to be a "hardcore" gamer, when you dont actually know that different games require different skills. You cant use FPS skills in a RTS, you needs RTS skills. You cant use DDR skills in Guitar hero, you need mad rock and roll skills. and you call yourself a hardcore gamer... Just becuase you play a game that the majority doesnt know about doesnt mean your a hardcore gamer.

Skill just means you have the knowledge to do something well, and that applies to video games too. If games didn't require skill, I'd like to see you enter some tournaments and win a couple thousand.

Yes, I TOTALLY agree. Warhammer 40k is an awsome tabletop game and I can't wait to see how it's implemented into a MMO. For the greater good!

Judging something by how much physical effort you put into it seems ignorant.
