Your kind-of missing the point.

And btw, All the premium 360s including the halo are all fundamentally the same machine. All newer systems have HDMI now which is simply a chronological enhancement. Not a modifacation and removal of current features.

The elite simply has a bigger HDD, all other features beside a few extra pack-ins are the same. The core is the only model that really differs, where it has no HDD at all. Though everything else is the same.

360 and PS3 not the same.

Isnt the 360 premium one SKU, not 2? and the Halo 3 edition came out to hype the game. And even if you count all this, then at least it never happened in 1 year. I wouldnt be surprised if 1 more SKU (120GB) came out for Sony.

Let me put in in perspective for you. Say your watching a football game and a teams gameplan isn't working. Why would that team stay with the same gameplan when they can switch gameplans based on what has happened on the field to be more (and here is the key word) competitive in the game? The team that is losing, and lets face it, as much as I love my Ps3, it's losing, is going to switch it's gameplan so it can get back in the game. It is not desperate. It's being competitive.

I have the European 60gb. Its the same as your 80gb with limited BC but obviously living in europe we need 20gb less hard drive space than you guys.....

.... never really understood why.

Our other model is the new 20gb one with no BC.
