Deep Silver plans to release Sacred 2 for PS3 and Xbox 360 on 5th June.

The console versions have been a long time coming; Sacred 2 launched on PC late last year. And since then there have been plenty of updates - some fixing bugs while others added new content and features.

Deep Silver told Eurogamer this afternoon that these "should" all be included on the PS3 and Xbox 360 retail discs. Future patches will apparently be added through routine title updates.

Sacred 2 is a bread-and-butter fantasy action-RPG that has lots of loot, lots of abilities and lots of baddies. A Diablo clone, in other words. And probably the best example of one since Titan Quest.

The PS3 and 360 conversions will be given no demo, sadly, as Deep Silver told us this "wouldn't benefit" and may even harm people's perception of the game.

Taken from Eurogamer

I hope it won't score lower as its PC counterpart, and I'm actually interested in the game.

Nice. Not heard of this game before but it looks like it'll take my mind off wanting another Champions of Norrath for a while. Definitely up my street.

Off topic: Are there any games like this that are already out for 360/PS3? I could do with a decent action RPG.

I was really disappointed with this title. Well, I did buy it because I heard of Blind Guardian in the trailer. :(

June 5th is for Europe. It just went gold and will be relasing May 12th in North America. Deep Silver is publishing the game in Europe, CDV is doing it in North America. Anyway, I loved the first one and know what to expect. I am just thankful that they made this one for consoles. It is just an addictive loot whoring dungeon crawler, and I have been craving one for consoles this gen to no avail. Been waiting on this one for quite awhile now, cannot wait.

Yeah, Too Human was an almost, but not quite game for me. I had such high expectations as well. Anyway, I prefer my dungeon crawlers to have more of a high fantasy setting, rather than that of a sci fi setting, like that of Too Human. I have been craving something that is akin to Champions of Norrath, and this is about as close as I am going to get on consoles right now.

I enjoyed the compelling and interesting Sci-Fi setting, kinda different for Dundeon crawlers, but yeah, not much too look forward too until Diablo 3/Sacred 2.

Both this and the orginal Sacred were busted, buggy and brocken. I can imagine the console versions been just as bad.
