Fire Emblem Fates sales PSVita official dead in Japan

- Birthright sold 154,000 copies, Conquest sold 107,000 units

- Special Edition sold 43,000 copies

- lifetime sales of Awakening in Japan are at 492,000 copies sold

- roughly 90 percent of its initial stock

- Combine sales of both versions and the SE is 304,000 units sold

Looks like Fire Emblem Fates will surpass Awakening LTD sales in Japan, but that's because Fates is 2 separate games. I could imagine "new" 3DS sales is on top

Also already the 4th biggest selling series in Japan

They're also up for pre-order on Amazon already. The special edition will have both version on one cartridge. I pre-ordered Conquest and Birthright separately.

Because TC is an idiot. The Vita sold quite well, and one of the Vita models sold the most units in the region.

The Vita isn't worth mentioning anymore tbh. Plus, this has nothing to do with the thing to begin with.

If that SE is actually a thing I'd be a bit disappointed in Nintendo. No reason to split the game into two version when both fit on a single cart.

It's just a matter of preferential packaging because the SE is $100 with the third path dlc and an art book.

Apparently it's just for Japan as of now, but I think they'll bring that over as well closer to release.

Stupid Amazon Canada still only has a generic "Fire Emblem Fates" store page as if they don't know it's multiple titles. It's embarrassing how slow Amazon Canada updates store pages when the info is public for ages at some points (for anything).

I'd like to get the special edition so it's a one time purchase and don't have to worry.

While Nohr didnt outsell Hoshido. I am glad it was closer than I had suspected (3-1).

Seems like the popularity of the franchise has been revived.

To be fair, they didnt care for the pseudoscientific drivel that is the Zero Escape franchise. So they cant be too bad.
