Fire Pro Wrestling returns !

Not sure if any of you like these games theyre fairly niche but qnyway theres a brand new Fire Pro Wrestling out today for ps4 and PC. Its getting great user reviews on Steam , if you arent familiar these are a customizers dream you can design everything in this game , the belts ,wrestlers ,rings ,arenas etc you get the drift and you can load your creations and dload from the steam workshop theres already most of the most famous wrestlers available. Dont expect great graphics with this tho expect great gameplay its not a masher at all. Timing is everything

Just started getting into Returns a few weeks back (had no idea about the new one coming out) and I'll have to say it's the best wrestling game I've ever played. Of course being able to dl these huge packs of wrestlers from the 80s and such and being able to import wrestlers easily enough from one card to another goes a long way towards it's appeal for me.

But I also do like the timing based gameplay, as opposed to the button mashing in other wrestling games. And of course, I'm having a blast with the very robust edit mode, going back watching matches and tweeking movesets, skills... Haven't even started messing with the AI logic yet and that's supposedly one of the games big features.

Right now as far as playing, I'm setting up tag team tournaments of 32 teams and playing all the matches out on 125% speed and 5 difficulty. I also had a look at this thread and edited some refs so the matches wouldn't drag out too long.

The criticals are amazing and I love that they rarely happen, as it makes it a lot more impactful when they actually do. Also having bleeding and it effect wrestlers differently depending on their stats is a very cool feature.

Played it on the Dreamcast, PS2 now PC. Still the best fighting/wrestling game and it works with steam workshop. Already thousands of creations to download.

You can download The Elite and The Villain. So I'm happy.

I believe its only early access on Steam at the moment, and it comes out on both PC and PS4 later in the year. I'll pick it up though for sure when it drops on PS4.

Can't wait to play on PS4. I hope we get it by the end of this year.

I will stick to my N64 wrestling games.
